  Erick came out recently to look at the leaking chimney flashing on our roof and gave us a clear estimate. It had been hard to find a roofing company that could handle this kind of repair quickly, so we were glad they were responsive and easy to work with. He arrived on time, explained the roofing work in simple terms, and suggested a chimney cap to help protect the area and prevent future leaks, which we decided to add. Erick and his crew returned soon after and completed the roof repair with great workmanship at a fair price. They replaced the flashing properly, sealed everything well, and made sure the chimney area was protected from rain and heat. The communication during the whole process was excellent, and we always knew what to expect. We are very happy with the service, the value, and the quality of the roofing work, and we would gladly use them again if needed.

  We had a water leak and thought it was coming from the roof or bad flashing. We called Porter Family Roofing after a neighbor suggested them, and the whole experience was great. I spoke with the office that morning about the issue, and a little later Erick called and offered to come out the same day to inspect the roof. He arrived when he said he would, checked everything carefully, and found that the leak was not actually from the roofing system but from failed window sealant near the exterior. He even did a water test to confirm the source so we would know exactly what needed repair. He was friendly, professional, and clearly knows roofing and leak detection very well. It was reassuring to have someone take the time to inspect the roof, flashing, and problem area so thoroughly. We will definitely call again for any future roofing needs.

  I recently had an issue where rainwater was overshooting the gutters along the back side of the roof. The roofing crew came out quickly and fixed it with no hassle or excuses. It turned out the issue was with the gutter guards, not the shingles, and they had it corrected in just a few minutes. Everything is working perfectly now. This was my first time using this roofer, and the whole experience has been excellent. Erick kept every promise and stayed in touch throughout the job. They replaced the roof shingles and a few sections of damaged plywood, and the workmanship looks great. I really appreciate having a Garland roofing company that is honest, responsive, and stands behind its work. In this Texas heat, it is good to know the roof, gutters, and drainage are all working the way they should. I would gladly use them again for my other homes.

He explained the roofing materials they would use, how the shingles would be installed, and how the roof system would be secured to help protect the home during strong Texas storms and high winds. I also had concerns about some damaged decking boards, and he explained how those would be replaced properly as part of the roof repair. His knowledge, patience, and commitment to doing the job right until I was happy made my decision easy. Throughout the project, Samuel kept me updated on every step, including paint color, crew arrival times, how many roofers would be on site, when they were leaving, and anything that needed my attention.   i had storm damage on my home after a rough stretch of wind and heavy rain, and i saw Porter Family Roofing working nearby on another roof. I got a card from one of the crew, and samuel came out the next day to inspect everything. He gave me a very fair estimate, explained the roofing scope in simple terms, and the insurance payout ended up being higher than the roof bid, which really helped. While we were looking over the job, i also asked about redoing the brick and stone on the front of my house. He showed me a sample and went over options that fit my budget, which made the whole process easy. I still checked a couple other quotes, but jonah was the most responsive and informative, and that gave me a lot of confidence. The roofers started first and finished fast, in just two days. I was amazed because the project included both the flat roof over my entry area and the shingle roof, plus all the detail work that goes with it.
