  We recently had our roof replaced in Flower Mound, and it turned out to be one of the best upgrades we could have made for our home. We bought a house with a lot of potential in a neighborhood we really loved, but the exterior looked plain and the roofline made the curb appeal feel dated. We planned to update it later, but not long after moving in, we found out the roofing system was in bad shape. Even though we were not expecting to take on a roofing project so soon after buying the home, the experience ended up being very positive.   We first reached out to Porter & Sons Roofing about some backyard concrete and pool deck work at our home in Flower Mound. When Terry came out, he also noticed a few roofing problems and took time to explain what was going on in a clear, easy way. He was very knowledgeable about roofing, shingles, decking, drip edge, and the insurance claim process, which gave us a lot of confidence. After looking things over, we contacted our insurance company and scheduled the adjuster. Terry met with the adjuster at the house and handled most of the conversation, making the whole process much easier for us. In the end, insurance approved a full roof replacement, which was a huge help. The backyard work started quickly, and even though a few normal project delays came up along the way, everything was handled professionally and the final result turned out great. The finished deck area looks excellent and really improved the space around our pool. A short time later, the roofing work was scheduled. They were able to help get all of the roof decking replaced where needed, install upgraded 30-year shingles, and add new drip edge. The roofing crew worked efficiently, kept things organized, and finished the job fast. The whole roof replacement felt smooth from start to finish, and the new roof looks fantastic. Terry and Maurice were both great to work with. They were honest, skilled, and easy to talk to throughout the project. We had been tired of hearing from so many roofers, but this experience really stood out in a positive way. We are very happy with the workmanship, communication, and the final results, and we would absolutely use them again for roofing needs.
