This company replaced our shingle and flat roofs in December 2022. Its quote was the highest $$$ of 5 contractors I invited (reason why not 5 star). But as an engineer, I believed they provided the best quote explanation and the most thorough work for our money. Reason why not 2 stars: no accountability for charging $500 extra for 48 feet of new 12-inch-wide plywood to supposedly repair wood on the roof. They sent pictures showing about 14-18 feet they installed; they would not go into the attic to take pictures of all 48 feet, and would not go through their large disposal bin to show me damaged wood replaced. I looked often in the bin every day and saw 5-6 feet of damaged wood. My request for a break was denied. I had heard of roofers who slap liens on homes if they are not paid in full. And the Walker contract states that any legal action they take against customers must be paid by the customer!!! So read the fine print before you sign. Feeling ripped off, I do not recommend.

A vehicle advertising this business almost hit me as I was walking on Montgomery Rd. Driver never stopped at the stop sign. Lack of professionalism and a basic lack of road safety would lead me to NEVER use this awful business. Your …

Hello, I am sorry to hear about the situation you may have experienced however, I think you are mistaken. All of our vehicles have Geo-Location tracking, and none of been in the Montgomery area around that time. We have been in business for over 40 years, and have never once been involved in a traffic indecent. Not only are our vehicles very closely motored but as are our drivers. We are dedicated to providing quality high quality and professional workmanship with everyone's safety as a top priority. Regards, The Walker Team

The worst customer service ever! We ordered a front door 1st wk in June and still waiting for installation. They don't always return calls when we've asked for an update - and they keep moving out the date of installation which is difficult as we have to plan our work schedules to be available. We will never use this company again!

Sorry for the delays related to the installation of your front entrance door. We did drop the ball with a number of problems and when the door arrived it was the wrong colour. We did finally get the door installed with the requested colour. I understand your frustration especially considering we had previously installed a new roof, new chimney and windows on your house that met your high standards. Greg Walker

We just had a new roof and aluminum eaves installed by Peter & Greg Walker Contracting, and from end to end, it was an excellent experience. Before any work begins, they are extremely detailed and transparent about the process and their experience, with detailed photos of past jobs throughout. All the upfront information provided peace of mind and trust for my partner and I. In terms of the actual work, everything was done as described -- and done fast. Even with my street's questionable (read: never available) parking, there were no complaints and they just carried on with the work. I WFH and wasn't bothered at all over the three-day job. Would highly recommend this company if you need any roofing or exterior work done to your home!

Peter & Greg Walker Contracting Inc replaced my roof, and I am very happy with their work. During the process, they identified areas that could cause issues with ice damage due to my low slope roof and the importance of drip guards to protect the wood underneath. They were very professional and responsive, and I would highly recommend them.

Kyle was thorough in his quoting and exam and came in with a fair price, comparable to other quotes I recieved. (Other companies just quoted based off Google maps without visiting) The crew of Manol, Dario, Alex, Khumri, and Ranga were thorough and professional. I expected a certain level of mess after a job like this but these guys went above and beyond with the cleanup, even getting rid of some of my own work garbage without asking. They also did some extra work at no additional cost. Very pleased

We’re very happy with the work Peter & Greg Walker Contracting Inc. did on our roof. The team did an excellent job, finished right on schedule in just two days, and left the property spotless when they were done. Their crew was professional, respectful, and a pleasure to have around. From the initial sales conversations right through to the post-completion follow-up, the service was outstanding. They have a strong local reputation in Etobicoke, and they absolutely lived up to it. We’re happy to be repeat customers and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company.

Compresensive work, on time, polite workers. I found a few aluminum nails on driveway following their departure which naturally weren't caught by the magnet sweep, which I cleaned up myself. No harm done, but a last minute visual check is perhaps warranted.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Peter & Greg Walker Contracting Inc. A friend recommended them to me and they went above & beyond to exceed my expectations. I am still marvelling at how the entire process and all the transactions took place so smoothly and completely stress-free. From our first meeting with Brian, I knew that my eighty year old Mom was in exceptional hands. He took the time to visit her home twice, to ensure that he first thoroughly collected all the necessary information about the condition of my Mom’s roof and eavestroughs and then carefully and patiently explained the entire scope of the project to my Mom. He made sure that she knew that he cared about delivering the best possible service to meet her needs. A trust was immediately formed, and she felt empowered and confident of the work that was planned. The installers were highly skilled and did an outstanding job! They were very punctual, courteous, professional and expedient. What really impressed us most, was how exceptionally organized this company is. The entire project was pre-planned to perfection, where everything took place like clockwork. This company is highly efficient and experts in this field of work. I was also so very grateful for Berta’s (Office Administrator) assistance because she was constantly willingly to accommodate us from ensuring desired scheduling and payment plans. She always immediately followed up on all inquiries and made sure that we were accommodated to our greatest satisfaction. Not only will I recommend this company to others, but there is absolutely no other company I will entrust to complete the work on my very own roof next year! THANK YOU Walker’s. We are so very grateful for your service & care.

Roofing Company in Toronto and the Truth About Common Roofing Myths Many homeowners believe that roofing problems only appear when leaks become visible, but the reality is often quite different. Peter and Greg Walker Contracting Inc. operates as a Roofing Company in Toronto that regularly addresses hidden issues before they escalate. Small signs such as subtle shingle movement, minor flashing wear, or attic temperature changes can indicate developing concerns long before water enters the home. Waiting for visible damage often leads to more extensive repairs. Another common misconception is that all roofing materials perform the same regardless of installation quality. In reality, even premium materials can fail early if not installed correctly or if ventilation is overlooked. Peter and Greg Walker Contracting Inc. emphasizes a full system approach that considers structure, airflow, and weather exposure together. This helps prevent misunderstandings about what actually causes roof failure. Understanding these realities allows homeowners to make better decisions and avoid unnecessary costs.
