  Perkins put a new roof on my house and I have had problems ever since. Oddly enough, NO ONE will EVER answer the phone or return my calls. They don't deserve this one star. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD OR THEIR WORK PRODUCT. ITS SHAMFUL!!

  Stay away! First they increased their quote… after taking a core sample that is now probably causing a bigger leak in our roof. We agreed to everything and just needed to finalize the date. after spending so much time (weeks!!) on details they just vanished! Have not responded to texts and one time he accepted the call and hung up after I told Matt Perkins which house I wanted to talk to him about. They said they had done a ton of work on properties in the Washington ave / rice military area in Houston, Tx.

  We had a great experience with Matthew during our initial roof replacement in 2020. He helped us navigate the insurance process, and his crew did great work using high-quality materials. They finished the job in a single day and the site was left spotless. Follow up drywall work from the initial leak was also great. The problem has been with follow-up. I reached out recently with a minor issue (some decking near the drip edge appeared to be lifting). Matthew said he would send someone to take a look. The next day, he told me his guy had inspected it and found no issues or water damage. However, I was home all day, saw no one, and my security cameras showed no one on the roof. When I reached out, I was told they used a drone with thermal imaging. The spot in question is about 9 feet off the ground and under tree cover so not ideal for that kind of inspection. I asked if someone could take a closer look in person, which seemed like a fair request. Matthew responded with the following (quoted verbatim): "We use with thermal imaging which detects moister. That way we can easily scan a roof and know if it’s a roof leak. You don’t think it’s in my interest to find a storm damage entry since the hurricane came through and charge you money to repair it? You don’t know anything about what my bread n butter is. We did an honest assessment and showed no moister and there would be no reason to charge you to repair something that’s probably from rafters. That’s what honest people do." He'll probably respond to say our problem is with the framing of the house and/or settling. Honestly that could be the case, I'm not an expert. The issue is that he wasn't willing to take part of his or his crew's day to come take a look. I wasn't looking for free repairs - just expertise from the people that actually installed the roof. Matthew is great if you’re looking for a full roof replacement and help with insurance, we genuinely appreciated that part. Again, seemed like great work an

  Wow! This was a surprise to get such a mixed review. We did a 5 star roof almost 6 years ago but the customer sent me a photo of a piece of his decking lifting. We responded the next day with a technician who used a drone that detects leaks. Same system home inspectors use. We found zero moister and told the customer to check his rafters for possible settling. I even sent him the photos after this review and he never responded.

  We purchased a new roof through Perkins two years ago with a guaranteed 5 year warranty. We need a repair and they refuse to answer the phone or contact us despite leaving our information on voicemail. Stay away from this shady company, they do not honor their warranties. Edit: and before they say I was not a customer, I am writing on behalf of my elderly grandmother who purchased the roof. She is on a fixed income and was relying on this company to do right by their customers.

  This home was destroyed after the hurricane! I explained to the homeowner that this is why they have home insurance to help build it back. The homeowner does not have the money for their deductible which is very unfortunate but NOT Perkins Roofing fault. I am very surprised they wrote a bad review ask if the hurricane was our fault 😔 …

  This person was not a customer of Perkins Preferred Roofing. She bought a house in Arkansas and wanted warranty information on a roof for a home that she purchased.We have hired an attorney who can track down this person's computer or phone and see who is writing these fake reviews and harming my company.

  Matt did a great job replacing our roof. Quoting process was easy and everything was explained fully. Financing option was completed online and approved the same day, very helpful. Scheduling went quickly and the job was completed in a single day. Even some issues we discovered after removing the old roof did not delay the project. I highly recommend these guys.
