  Initially Penny's roofing was ok. They showed up and did some caulking on the roof free of charge in hopes it would resolve the problem. Following that, communication became very poor. Contacted the company again when the caulking was no longer resolving the problem and no one was responding for a week through their online chat. I reached out again and when they did reply they scheduled a 2nd inspection for the next day which they cancelled less than an hour before the appointment which becomes inconvenient when you take time off of work for it. Matt did reschedule but showed up at a random time with only 30 minutes notice -did more caulking by his suggestion to see if that would work. Again, free of charge but requested I "go online and give him a good review". The caulking held for a bit but 2 months later I finally requested a quote to replace the area of roofing as it was actively leaking into my home and Matt said they could get it done within the month and would send a formal quote and time frame by end of day. It has been ~2 weeks and crickets, I even sent a follow up email incase I was accidently forgotten about and still nothing. Very unreliable for communication especially when you are in an emergency situation. Would not recommend for any emergency/active leak that you need repaired asap.

  Never showed up for the quote or even called. They might do a good job if you can get them to focus for a second. When i called back it was like it was normal for him to not be professional. Much better options in the area.

  Had my old roof replaced by Matt and his team. I was absolutely satisfied all the way through the presentation right through to the quality of the work and clean up!   Penny's roofing was the first to provide a quote, was very cost effective and did a wonderful job. We where unable to be at home when the roof was done but it was done as committed and the worksite cleanup was fantastic. I highly recommend them.

  UPDATE 2026: Matt came out to help with a mysterious leak after a massive wind/rain storm. He inspected the roof, diagnosed a problem area and fixed it on the spot. He continues to help customers down the road should you need it. Still recommend him 100% **** ORIGINAL FROM 2020: Beyond happy with the work and professionalism! Our roof was in worse shape than we anticipated - Matt and his team kept us up to date with any surprises and progress being made during the job and showed us pictures of the work once completed. Matt made everything stressless for being first time home buyers with a big project right out the gate. It’s hard to find honest people sometimes but he respected our wishes and budget while answering about a million questions we had about the job.

  Matthew Penney was prompt in responding to all my queries. His pricing was comparable to other roofers. What impressed me was his professionalism and the detailed information he provided about the work his crew would perform, including a visual presentation.
