  Pretty disappointed with the experience, although to be clear we only went through the estimate for a roof cleaning and leak repair. I was up front about having a concrete tile roof, and they sent someone over anyway. The guy spent the time here bemoaning our roof type for the NW, discussed his suggestions but would not commit to a firm dollar total, only a follow up with an approximate quote and next steps. I get a call a few days later saying “we recommend a full roof replacement” even though he never climbed on the roof to inspect anything. Then they proceeded to tell me how they don’t do tile roofs but would replace ours with one of the types they specialize in installing. The level of bait and switch to this is an absolutely embarrassing look for this company. I solicited three other bids, and none of them recommended a full roof replacement. It’s pretty simple. If you aren’t comfortable with the roof type, don’t take the estimate, and certainly don’t jerk a potential customer around into believing the only solution is to spend $50-100k on a new roof. Wildly unethical at best, borderline illegal at worst.

While we’re sorry it wasn’t a positive one for you, we stand by our core values of honesty and transparency—principles that have guided us for over 45 years. The estimate appointment was specifically intended to evaluate whether a repair could be made. After assessing your 35+ year-old concrete tile roof, it became clear that it had reached the end of its serviceable life. Due to the age and condition of the system, we chose not to walk on the roof, as doing so could have caused further damage, something we always aim to avoid. What we initially hoped might be a minor repair turned out to involve more extensive issues upon closer inspection. In our professional opinion, a spot fix would not have resolved the underlying problems and may have only delayed more serious and costly damage. We provided a direct and honest recommendation for full replacement based on what we observed. We do work on tile roofs, but we don’t believe in applying short-term fixes that ultimately leave homeowners in a worse position. While we may not have been the right fit for your project, we’re genuinely glad you found a company that aligns with your expectations and needs. We simply stand behind our assessment and the integrity with which it was delivered.

  They did a decent job but the finish work is poor. I asked for no music on the job and was assured that it was not allowed. The second day the music came out and they played it on the roof till they finished. They did not finish all the work and it is three months later and they still have not completely finished. Had to call several times to get them to come out and look at what they did not finish and they finally showed up and agreed they would complete the task. After a couple of calls the job is still not done. Considering my experience and the level of service and quality provided I would not recommend them to a friend or anyone else. Good sales job just did not back up their promises.

  I used Pacific West Roofing to repair our old chimney - we had an issue with water leaking into our ceiling where the chimney was adjacent to. Stan's team repaired the cricket and flashing of the roof + power washed and applied a hydrophobic coating to the chimney. We won't know until later this year if the solution worked, but Pacific West os confident it will solve the issue. So far, everything looks a lot better so I'm hopeful this will solve our issue

  I've been a customer of Pacific West Roofing for many years. They installed a new roof for us 12 years ago and subsequently did a roof cleaning for us. I just had another roof cleaning done. I was initially disappointed in the thoroughness of the cleaning. I reached out to complain, fearing that I would get pushback. I didn't get an ounce of that. Instead, I had workers back at my house THE NEXT DAY! Not only that, but the team was there all day and did an amazing, incredibly thorough cleaning. Pacific West Roofing clearly wants to be sure they have happy customers. Sure, the day 1 experience wasn't perfect. But it's SO comforting to know that the business you pay will stand behind their service quality when challenged.

  Very courteous and nice folks. Compared to another bid of replacing the roof they said they can just repair the leaks and the roof has lots of life left. They had to come out an addition time as the leaks still continue. Pacific West Roofing, LLC made it right and did correct all leaks in the roof.
