  Do not hire Owensboro Roofing Company! We hired Brandon Mattingly in early August 2018 and paid him over $5K down on a new roof. 7 months later, we still have no roof. After every excuse imaginable, we are having to take him to civil court to try to recoup the money that he ran with. Stay away from this company.

  This review is not accurate. Let’s clarify something real quick. You gave me $5,000.00 on an $11,000.00 job. You hired our company to do your siding, gutters, and roof. You instructed us that you did not have the money to pay your bill when the work was completed. We have already completed the siding and gutters. I apologize that we do not want to go in deeper with you financially and you unable to pay your bill when it when it is due. Perhaps you will find other people to do work for nothing, but we are not a good match for you.

  A fair review is a fair review..... I ordered the wrong color Roofing because after the original contract was signed you changed your mind on the color you wanted. That correction was made though it was not required on our part. Please see your original contract for the color you originally wanted and then note the change that YOU asked for. I could not return the wrong color as it was cut to the sizes needed for your house. I had to eat that cost. Secondly, we did hit a wire while installing your siding. We have no way of knowing what is on the back of your walls when we are installing the siding but I also adjusted your bill accordingly for what an electrician charged to fix the problem so essentially I paid to repair that mishap. Lastly, the piece of edging that you are speaking of is a piece of rake edge that was blown off due to excessive wind, not because of my company. The reason I did not come back to work with you again is because you were not my most fun and pleasant to deal with customer to begin with. I chose not to go back into contract with you to avoid getting back into this type of relationship. I hope this response jogs your memory quite a bit and you adjust your review appropriately. You changed the color, I fixed the wire, the damage was due to wind not my company. Thanks

  I can appreciate you taking the time to write this review but I have a couple of things to point out: 1. I do not have a contract with you so this review is without merit. 2. The blind woman that you are referring to is capable enough to contact me in a town 45 minute drive away from her home based on her due diligence of our company. 3. When she contacted us, she asked us for an estimate to which we supplied. 4. She signed the contract, selected her roofing color and was able to sign a check made payable to our company as a security deposit. 5. When we notified her that we were ready to install her roof is the time that she decided she no longer wanted us to do the work. 6. As a holder of a Doctorate degree and a former member of Harvard which she has made very clear that I know her credentials I hold her to be completely competent of what has gone on and she has agreed to these terms on her own. 7. Cancelled contracts are precisely the reason that we take security deposits. When you have a sweet little old lady not pay you and you get a judgment against her that is a meaningless as meaningless can be you learn to protect yourself. Final: Owensboro Roofing Company is a 5 Star rated company. We are more than ready to uphold our contract that was signed. While your friend Does have the right to cancel the contract on her end, I also have the right to enforce the contract on my end. Just because she is okay wasting my time does not mean that I am okay wasting my time.

  Came out quickly and put a new roof and decking on my home. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing their home fixed! Very honest, transparent, and makes the whole process easy.

  UPDATE: It is March 20, 2025 and Owensboro had a significant hail storm the other day, with damage to schools/grocery stores/homes, vehicles, etc. but our roof that was put on by this company 4 years ago this week, sustained NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER. HIGHLY, HIGHLY Recommend this company and their work. They are owned by a combat veteran like myself and my husband who does not take shortcuts in their work. Thanks again to them and their team. Highly recommend; if you want someone to actually show up on time and produce quality work, this is the company to hire. They did exactly what they were hired to do and were not only hard workers, but genuine, good people. This company is fortunate to have a sizeable team that will work sun up to sun down. Thank you for a beautiful roof that will last us many years.

  I called for an estimate for a new roof, and Brandon showed up that same day and completed the estimate (most other places I called never showed up). Pricing was competitive, and communication was excellent throughout the process. The roof turned out great. These guys are pros and are very knowledgable. After the new roof was installed, Brandon did a walk around with me and made sure the cleanup was perfect. I appreciated the attention to detail and willingness to do the job right. I will use these guys again in the future.

How is it fair for you to drive down our company name based on you wanting to talk about a fence on a weekend when we are closed.

  Owensboro Roofing did an excellent job replacing my roof. They took great care to protect the plants along my house with tarps and did a terrific job cleaning up all the nails and roofing debris. I'm very happy with their work and definitely recommend using them.

  These guys did a great job. Brandon is very helpful and he is a real straight shooter. The crew that came and did my roof worked hard and was very careful. They put tarps on the ground on both sides of the house and used a magnet to pick up stray nails. They finished my roof in one day and it is not a small roof. A+ all the way around. Recommended them to anyone.
