  Beware. I had to replace the roof On Call Roofers installed due to leaking, poor seam welding, improper drip edge installation, and inappropriate fastening to the plywood deck. During the replacement process, three highly-rated roofing companies told me my roof looked like it had been done by amateurs. It started to peel and leak within four years of installation and ended up costing me a lot of money to replace.

  Working with On Call Roofers was good up until the project needed to be completed. Mike’s team sprayed a sealant on my metal roof and failed to tape or tarp our windows/siding/deck/driveway. This was my experience: I asked Mike prior to the job being complete if he’d be cleaning this up. He assured me “they’d do a thorough cleanup”. After the job was “done”, no clean up happened and the sealant remained. I asked Mike to clean it up. He sent his crew and they only removed the sealant from the windows I specifically called out. He then immediately invoiced me, called me and texted me for final payment. In the email and phone, his wife told me they’d put a lien on my property if I didn’t pay. It had been only 4 hrs since receiving the invoice and per our contact I had 30 days to pay plus 45 until they could begin the lien process. I let them know I wouldn’t be paying until the job was cleaned up (per the contract). They continued to threaten a lien on my property and that my request was a “punch list” item. I had to give them 3 options: clean it up, I’d hire someone to clean it and take it off the invoice or we’d let a judge decide. They chose option 1 and it’s much better but still have sealant everywhere. I added a few photos.

  Sorry you feel this way. We will always come back on our work. We did come back as owners after we sent the guys out for the clean up to double check. We took before and after photos. The photos posted are prior to us as owners coming back for a clean up check. Most companies don’t send owners on the job for a clean up review. As licensed contractors in Utah we use a system called the state constitution registry. Our suppliers use the system too. This is a system set up in Utah to make sure anyone who works on a home can track progress and payment status. We release the preliminary once payment is made as per Utah code. We are happy to provide the before and after pictures from the owners clean up!

  I wish I could have written a better review. Mike is very personable and friendly, but when it came down to it, I was disappointed. The crew did fine when they patched our roof several months ago, but didn't clean up after themselves very well. I figured that wasn't the worst thing, and we needed new rain gutters so we hired On Call Roofers again. We paid $1,200+ to have new gutters installed. Before they left, I had to have them reseal one of the sections. A few days later I realized they had pulled our landscaping rocks to prop up some of the pieces, so it looked cheap. I was more disappointed when we still had leaks on several seams (which he assured me several times would not happen), and one of the connecting pieces was a different color, again, looking cheap and unprofessional. Mike came out to seal up the missed places and said they had spray painted the mismatched piece when they ran out of the right color. He acted as if I wouldn't notice. I made it clear to him that I wanted all the pieces to match and for them to redirect the water away from the house, because it was not working properly. (If someone pays $1,200 for something, it should look and function perfectly). He came back on a different day to actually do the repairs, and when I got back in town, I inspected the areas of concern. I was shocked to see that they had just switched the mismatch piece with a matching piece that was deeper in the corner of the yard. I couldn't believe it. It was just incredibly lazy and careless. I should have known better when the crew left cigarette butts in our garden and changed their clothes in our driveway... a serious lack of professionalism. Lastly, I have found yet another place where the seal wasn't done properly. I expect a professional to check and test their work before they leave a job, and if not, then they should definitely check any areas of possible concern on the second or even third visit, but the fact that it still leaks and we are out $1,200 is rea

  I’m sorry if you feel the work was not completed. We have come back numerous times to run water checks with no leaks, and address concerns at no charge that were not from our company install, including the rain chain that was a prior install incorrectly from a previous company, Mike reinstalled the rain chain at no charge, including the last time he was a called out it was due to some wires hanging off the roof. When he showed up it was cables that were left by the cable company and he took them down, and again for no charge. We have not charged the service calls when it was not our installation. When the crew works in the freezing cold they wear multiple layers of coats, sweatshirt, gloves and thermals. They will change out their sweatshirts with moisture to another one to stay dry and not get sick. Mike, and son does not smoke cigarettes. I don’t know where the butts would have come from. If you need him to come run another water check we are happy to come by. If it is for another issue other than what we installed we will need to charge. Our complete install & materials was under $1,200.00. If you need a copy of that we are happy to send that over.

  This is a great Roofing Company, they specialize in getting homeowners the maximum pay out from Insurance Companies that fight you for every penny. They did an inspection and lab testing on our shingles to show that they were not available for a patch job. They documented our storm damage to our roof. The job passed County inspections. They used first class materials and even included new rain gutters. First Class installation, and follow up for a very reasonable price,👍🇺🇸

  We had our roof done by On Call Roofers about two years ago, and we are still very happy with the work. We live in Ely, Nevada, and they traveled from Salt Lake City to complete our project. They are a family-owned business, and everyone we worked with was professional, friendly, and honest. The crew did quality work, kept the job site clean, and completed the project as promised. Two years later, our roof is still doing great. It’s hard to find companies that provide both excellent workmanship and great customer service, but On Call Roofers did both. We highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.

  On Call Roofers did our roof for us and they were great. When it was complete, we hired them right back again and had them do our soffit & fascia. I'm so glad we did, it looks like a whole new house!! Theses guys are the best!!!

  Awesome company So we had wind damage on our roof, we made a call to “On Call Roofers”. Set a time for them to checkout the wind damage. We received a reminder call of day and time. We are a returning customer and he could’ve said worse case you need a new roof, they needed to do a repair of the pipe/ vent and flange that goes to our water heater and there’s no cost to us. They were finished when an hour of arrival. As they were saying it was 10 years since the roof was put on we are good to go. Just thinking they could have charged us for the repairs or a complete replacement roof but they are honest and respectful company which is hard to find these days. Thanks for your help and time.   Mike responded quickly to my request for an evaluation and estimate. Provided detailed estimates for repair and replacement. I opted for the repair, and upon agreeing upon the price they arrived promptly, completed the work promptly, and left the work area immaculate. Great roofer to work with. Will definitely call when I'm ready for the complete replacement!

  Mike you are an excellent businessperson, and you have built a great company. The fact that I know I can call, and you will be there is a relief. Adding you to our team of contractors is one of the best things I have done in this business, we know that we will be taken care of, with On Call Roofers. To all of you in the commercial industry, call them for your roofing needs we have never been disappointed. He will not leave you hanging as I have done with other roofing companies in the past. I have also used On Call Roofers for residential roofing as well. Always dependable, and quick to respond to all our needs. I always give their information out to anyone that needs a new roof, repairs, or adding something to a commercial roof that I will need a roofer for.
