  We had NY Roofing Bronx replace the flat roof over our rear extension after noticing leaks and unusually hot rooms below it. Old roof had very little insulation and some of the decking near the wall had deteriorated. New decking was installed where needed, followed by insulation, a cover board, and an EPDM membrane. They also improved the flashing where the extension connects to the house. The rooms below feel more comfortable and the roof has stayed dry. Overall, very pleased with the result.

  Our warehouse did not have a major active leak, but the roof was clearly reaching the end of its life. Seams were opening, the membrane was shrinking around the perimeter, and water stayed near one of the internal drains. We chose to replace it before those conditions affected the inventory below. The existing ballasted membrane and stone were removed in sections. Moist insulation was found near one drain, while most of the metal deck remained in good condition. A corroded area beneath an old pipe opening was repaired before installation continued. The new system included tapered insulation, a high-density cover board, and a fully adhered TPO membrane. Unused penetrations were eliminated and new walk pads were added between the access point and rooftop equipment. Deliveries were scheduled around our busiest loading hours. The dumpster remained on-site one day longer than expected, which caused a minor inconvenience. Aside from that, the project stayed organized and the building remained fully operational. The roof now drains properly and the final documentation was complete.

  By the time we replaced our row house roof, it had patches on top of older patches. Tear-off revealed two roofing layers and some damaged wood around the hatch. The bad decking was replaced before new insulation and a self-adhered modified-bitumen system were installed. They also rebuilt the wall flashing instead of applying more sealant over the old material. Our small garden was covered during debris removal and the neighboring yard was checked each evening. Rain delayed the final metal work by one day, which was communicated clearly. The roof has been through both summer storms and winter weather without any leaks. We are glad we finally replaced it properly.

  Our roof was about 18 years old and had started cracking around the edges and vents. We decided to replace it with a two-ply SBS modified-bitumen system. NY Roofing Bronx removed the old material, repaired the deck where necessary, and installed new wall and vent flashing. The workers were respectful of the tenants and cleaned the property at the end of each day. We received clear photos of the work and the warranty information afterward.
