  Put roofing on my home. Some mistakes were made that only rain could uncover. Difficult to contact for repair. Other issues arose and zero contact about the repair after a estimate. They are not concerned about you if they already been paid. Find other roofing contractors. New owners reason is only going to get you so far. I will never use them again.

  Hi Alfred, I hear your frustration, and I'm truly sorry we couldn't be the ones to take care of this project for you. We always want to help out our past customers, so it's tough when a job falls outside of what we can confidently do. When we came out to inspect your 16-year-old roof, we found that the discoloration you noticed was just natural moss. We also spotted some dry rot, but unfortunately, that was caused by the placement of a downspout that wasn't part of our original installation. To properly fix that rot, someone would need to break into the stucco to remove a 2x8 board. That kind of structural stucco work just isn't our specialty. We want what's best for your home, which is why we recommended having a general contractor handle that structural piece first before any roof repair happens. Ultimately, we realized we weren't the right fit for the scope of this specific project, which is why we left a voicemail to let you know we had to pass. We still want to be helpful, so if you'd like the inspection photos to show to another contractor, please just let us know and we’ll send them right over.   Communications with the office were sporadic and slow. Once the work began it seemed to be quick and over in two days. A few obvious things not completed correctly and put back the way it was before the job. When pointed out got an answer of “oh no it was already like that.” House was for sale and once the buyer inspection reviewed the work several more not as obvious shortcuts were pointed out. My advice is to take pictures before the job and look at everything and every corner to verify their work when completed. Almost derailed our sale and caused some last second concessions from the work done.

  Been trying for a month plus to have the supervisor call back about work they did and there's a leak in the area that they worked. They won't call back. They just keep taking messages that they will let him know. Reply: No Mark hasn't called me. The purpose of that work was to prevent any. Why would I pay when I already had to go up and do it. No other neighbor has this issue. It should have been repaired to match the other houses in my court.

  They charge me $800 in case of dry rot, I spoke to the roofers and they told me there was very little if any dry rot. I asked Cecil to explain the $800 I paid. He said that he would talk to thr roofers and get back in touch with me, he never did, I guess he wasn't man to explane to me why I was charged $800 . Very very unprofessional. If any of my friends or family are looking to roof their house I will definitely tell them about the service I received.

  I'll keep this short, and stick to the just the facts. 1. FAIL - Work didn't start until nearly 5 months after we signed contract. 2. FAIL - Roof failed inspection Twice. 3. FAIL - Took almost another 5 months to complete the roof and pass final inspection. 4. FAIL - Quality of workmanship was a constant ongoing issue. 5. FAIL - Nushake actually placed a mechanics lien on our home while dragging out repairs to correct their failed installation that couldn't even pass inspection. 6. FAIL Over 2 months since the project was finally completed and paid in full and I'm still having to ask them, repeatedly, to remove the lien. 7. FAIL - Get EVERYTHING in writing if you use this company. I mean EVERYTHING. F - Poor Experience F - Poor Quality F - Poor Communication F - Poor Value F - Poor Service

A project dragging on for nearly a year, dealing with failed inspections, and having a lien placed on your home while waiting for corrections is an absolute nightmare. That is the exact opposite of how any home project should go. I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we actually purchased Nushake Roofing two years ago. The previous ownership and the team that put you through this ordeal are no longer running the company. Since taking over, our primary focus has been completely overhauling operations, customer service, and quality control to ensure that what you experienced never happens to another homeowner. We take our reputation very seriously, and straightforward communication and doing the job right the first time are the standards we live by today. Even though our current team wasn't involved in your project back then, I want to sincerely apologize on behalf of the Nushake name for the immense stress and frustration you went through.   Call them to come take a look at our roof for a possible repair or new installation of a roof. A guy name mill little guy or whatever the name was came out and did the inspection told my husband he will contact us back within 1 to 2 weeks for the estimation. Well a month went by and heard nothing back so contact them and the guy contact us back two days later and told us that they weren't doing any repairs and no estimation was done. Very bad customer service. Could've told us at the beginning of the inspection and could've found somebody else. Please avoid using them.

  Poor judgement, inconsiderate and selfish. Nearly caused an accident and put many others in danger simply to get a few car ahead in traffic. Driving in the rain if dangerous enough idiots like you blocking an entire intersection or cutting people off should not be on the road. If this is the type of person you are I can only image the type of work you do and the character of your business. I would never consider this guy for ANY type if work and neither should anyone.

Getting cut off and put in danger, especially during a rainstorm, is incredibly frustrating and scary. While I'll be the first to admit that my own driving style can sometimes be a bit more aggressive than the average driver when I'm navigating city traffic, being flat-out reckless, blocking intersections, and putting others at risk is completely unacceptable. You were absolutely right to call that out. I wanted to let you know that my team and I actually acquired NuShake Roofing a couple of years ago, long after this incident took place. The previous management and the person driving that truck are no longer associated with this company. Reading legacy reviews like yours reinforces exactly why our biggest priority upon taking over was resetting the culture here.   Mark came to the house on time, returned the bid in a timely fashion that was more than reasonable. He was very kind and professional. I asked him to protect the Japanese maple on the side of the yard that was very special to me and he built a structure that a meteor could not penetrate. I was so grateful it brought tears to my eyes. His men were always there on time, cleaned up every day before leaving, were respectful to us and our property. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you! Mark Littlefield for a job well done! Oh!! And they cleaned our skylight 😁

  After receiving 3 estimates for a new roof, we decided to go with NuShake Roofing. Although they WERE the least expensive, we went with them because of friend recommendations and our good feelings after speaking with Mark Littlefield. From start to finish, this was a great experience. The work was started ahead of schedule, completed quickly, and the workers were professional, polite, and tidy. I would trust NuShake in a heartbeat to install a future roof. The communication was excellent from the workers and office staff as well. My only tiny complaint was the installation of the gutters. I believe they contract out to another company. Those workers were less than tidy, and pulled up a tiny section of the new roof during their installation. However, Mark came out himself and fixed the problem quickly. I trust NuShake for any of my future roofing needs! Thank you!

  My Nushake roofing project went sooo beautifully! The crew was great and they were very careful every step of the way. The finished project couldn’t be nicer and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful new roof. They also installed gutter guards for extra protection against leaves in the gutters. Robert was my go to guy for any questions and he was just wonderful and so helpful, he really knows his business. Mark Littlefield was the Manager in charge of everything and I can’t compliment him enough, he is extraordinary and has a wonderful “can do” attitude. You can’t go wrong with NuShake and they had the best pricing by far of any other roofer I spoke with. Jan Difu (happy customer)

  This was the second house I have had re-roofed by Nushake and each time they have exceeded my expectations! The office staff is amazing and the workers are so professional.   Mark from NuShake came out to look at a leak showing up in the garage. He took care of the problem on the roof in very little time. He was professional and honest. I had NuShake in the past with the same good service which is why I called them again.

  Over ten years ago I had my roof and gutters replaced by Nushake. Recently a section of gutter came loose. Even though the warranty on labor was no longer valid, Nushake fixed it free of charge! So awesome!!

  I've had nushake fix a couple of roof problems in the past. If you can avoid the office personal, you will be happy with the work.

  Had my roof done a couple of weeks ago. They did a great job and the customer service was outstanding. There was a slight problem after they finished and I called to explain on a Saturday. The person I spoke to was Sergio. He came right out and stayed there for 6 hours to make sure everything was taken care of. I was very impressed! Thanks again Sergio
