  I had someone come out to look at replacing the trim along the roof. Dave gave me a quote that was a number written on a scrap of notebook paper and said to call back if I wanted something official. He also mentioned that if I wanted to repair some sagging plywood on our roof they could do both. When I called back (just for the trim, not the roof) for a contract, they said they'd email it to me and never did. I tried calling and emailing several more times over the next two weeks with no response. When I finally got a hold of someone, they said that they wouldn't do the trim alone -- they would only repair the trim if I also used them to repair the roof. That was a big bait-and-switch, that was not the reason I called them for an estimate, Dave mentioned that as a possible add-on but in no way said that was required. They completely wasted my time (the half day off work I took off to get a useless estimate and the time I spent calling/emailing later) and were completely unprofessional. Edit based on company response: I requested a trim repair, NOT a roof repair. If that wasn't possible, I should have been told that up front instead of weeks later. I was perfectly happy with the price of the trim repair and would have loved to move forward with that but no one would get back to me. I called multiple times because no one answered the phone (despite the website saying they're open 24/7) and there was no option to leave a voicemail. My attempts to reach out had nothing to do with not accepting the service arrangement, because no one had told me what that arrangement was. If you consider it harassment to have potential customers call you, you shouldn't be in business.

  Karen, our company came out for your estimate on June 3rd. We wrote down and stated to you in person, it was for BOTH: the roof repair and the trim, therefore; if you were to hire us, it was for both services, NOT just one. You refused to accept that, harassing us, calling us over 10 times this week. We calmly explained to you again that we can not do just the trim repair at the price you wanted, however, you refused, continued to call us from a different number, writing a negative review on here and Yelp, attempting to damage our reputation. We simply let you know we cannot do just the trim repair at the price you wanted, and you refused, this is just wrong. To be clear no work was performed at this property, ONLY an assessment and estimate.

  I had an appointment scheduled but had to cancel due to my crazy schedule. I was unable to reschedule due to my schedule. Although this may be a good company as seen by their five star reviews I will not reschedule because of their constant hounding by phone. Calls everyday non stop. I finally blocked their number.

  First, we did NOT call you everyday as you stated. Second, you asked us to call you back "due to your crazy schedule" as your staying in your review, which we did. We simply left a message since you didn't answer at the time you asked us to. This is the first time you've stated we're "hounding" you. We simply called you at the time you asked, what else could we do. To be clear we never came to you nor performed any work at your property.

  Edit 03/04: I learnt how they manage their review ratings: by harassing their paying clients on the phone over their reviews. I had to contact you multiple times for things that you owe me and the report was delayed and yet you expect me to be a delighted? May be their specialty is for commercial roofing. For a home buying inspection, my experience was horrible. Its so hard to get either one of them online to start with but their rating kept me going. You have to get someone to answer your phones - a groggy sounding voice is not very welcoming - but that is up to you. On inspection day Brandon seemed more interested in conversing with my agent - not too worried about ensuring, I, as the paying client got things clarified - where is your customer focus? I specifically reminded him about the detached garage but he forgot to inspect that. Later that day I get a call from Thomas asking for payment. I enquire about the garage, and the response was "I don't know, he is the one out on the field". Where is your team work? Next day he did inspect that and sent me a separate report for the garage. Again I had to ask for the whole report. What the hell is happening? The report is a bunch of construction terms thrown in with some pictures, with no effort made to check if I got everything and understood them. When I did the regular home inspection they come up with some items in the roof, no idea how NOVA missed it. Yet, I didn't want to miss on my part of the deal and call them to make a payment. Ask for a receipt only to be told I have already been sent an invoice. Don't you guys know the difference between an invoice and a receipt? Not worth what they charge. Never seen a team this dis-coordinated. Wonder if they wrote their own reviews on Thumbtack.

  Sir, you are obviously a liar and unreasonable person. We clearly promptly followed up with you, made sure all you needs were met and asked you if there's anything else we can do for you. You never mentioned ANY of this and said everything is fine. Now you go online to try and damage our reputation. Something we pride ourselves on. Have you noticed all of our other reviews are 5 stars?? If we see any other FALSE accusations online I, Thomas Valera, the owner of NOVA Consulting Services Inc WILL proceed with legal matters against you immediately. You are trying to damage everything we have worked for.

  Nova Rooftek came out to replace our dryer vent and were fast and efficient for a great price. Would recommend!

  We needed a full roof replacement after storm damage, and this company helped guide us through the insurance claim process. They documented everything thoroughly and worked directly with the adjuster, which made things much less stressful. The installation itself took about three days, and the crew stayed organized the entire time. Compared to handling everything on our own, this was far more manageable. The new shingles look great, and cleanup was handled properly. It’s reassuring knowing the job was done right and that we had support navigating the paperwork.

  We added a skylight to bring more natural light into our living room, and it made a huge difference. The installation took about two days, including sealing and finishing. Compared to artificial lighting, the natural light completely changes the feel of the space. The team made sure everything was properly insulated to avoid leaks. It’s a feature we didn’t realize we needed until now.

  Absolutely the best experience I had during very stressful times. I was in the process of selling my house and had an unexpected leak happen. Thomas came fast and covered the damaged area and worked with me and my insurance for almost 3 months. He was very patient and had great communication ! His entire team was respectful and very kind. Overall great experience and 100/10 would recommend him and his company!
