  Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this company. I showed pictures of and described to them exactly what I wanted for siding and porch remodel and was told no problem. 3 months later (May to August) they finally show up to start working. They then gave me different siding and was told well this is what you were quoted for so this is what you’re getting by John. After Terry accused me of just not wanting to pay for their work, he did offer to change it after I showed him text messages of what I had asked for and John told me I’d be getting. As for the porch, not only did they give me smaller sized pillars than I had been told I was getting, which I just accepted without comment at that point, I had discussed with John the facade be smoothed over and repainted, which he confirmed and then later denied ever happening. Instead, they just painted over the uneven wood and chipped paint that was already there. Terry actually told me well it’s an older house, what do you expect it to look like, there’s only so much we can do. I’ve never left a Google review in my life but if I can convince even just one person from wasting their time and money with this company, I’ll be happy.

  First of all, a verbal rough estimate was given over the phone. On inspection it was determined the aluminum awning requested by you could not be installed due to design and construction of existing placement area. You still insisted to be provided an estimate for work that our company could not do, and we stressed the fact we could not install the requested product. This is a fake, negative review.   I am sorry that you are disappointed. We provided three no cost detailed written estimates within 7 days. On the phone we asked if there were questions regarding the project and if we were within the budget, there was no feedback about the three quotes, however more estimates were requested. We should have provided them. Masonry work was not going to begin for another six weeks as it is still snowing and freezing rain in Michigan this time of year. Seems like an unfair review for providing three free estimates, perhaps we dodged a bullet as some people are difficult to please. Good luck with your project. We will work to improve the turnaround time on quoting work.

Due to the volatility of price increases in the home remodeling world we were doing our homework in checking on prices.   Hi Brian. Historically we have been able to produce estimates in a predictable time frame, however, in the age of COVID we are all learning to conduct business differently. What used to take a week seems to require three weeks lately. Getting accurate information and current prices for materials and delivery from our suppliers has proven to be difficult and unpredictable. Ironically, we received cabinet information and costs on the very day you posted this unfavorable review. We are all learning to adjust to this new business climate. Thank you.

  Had a driveway and several slabs of sidewalk replaced, this summer. The work was completed in 2 days. But, to date, I have not been able to get anyone back out here to address issues and concerns (cracks and gaps)with the work.

  I am sorry that we are not able to help every customer, as a small business with limited manpower this project was not possible to do in a timely manor. we should have called and explained our scheduling problem. However the accusation of not working for minorities is uncalled for as we work for many different ethnic families in and around the Detroit Metro area.

  I had 3 quotes from companies, one was outrageous price, 2 to 3x the quote I received from Northwest. I wanted a local company and chose Northwest because of their reputation of quality work and many repeat customers - which told me they can be trusted. I had NW install new house and garage roof and gutters and gutter guards on the we garage. I did have a couple glitches, but NW worked well in making sure their work was completed - totally satisfied with finished work and would not hesitate to use them again.

  We recently had our porch rebuilt and several service walks redone. The entire process was easy and efficient.   We recently had all new dormer siding put on our house along with some other work we needed to have done. Everything turned out fantastic and in a timely manner. We’ve had work done by the team in the past and they are truly great to work with. I highly recommend them. Great work as always NWC!

  Siding replacement on fireplace box outside. Fabulous job by installers and salesman was wonderful owners. Terri and Laura are fabulous people. We will have the roof done by them too very soon. These people are great honest as the day is long terrific people.

  I have had numerous jobs done by Northwest, roof and gutters as well as work on shed, siding and roof. When touch-ups were needed, they returned as promised. Preparation and consideration of landscape and clean-up was great afterwards on every job. The quoted price is what I paid, no surprises. The owner is honest and easy to talk to with no pressure.
