  Newfoundland Roofers. WRONG SHINGLES!!!😡 My experience getting my back porch reshingled on Thursday July 16. Andrew, the owner of Newfoundland Roofers showed up Wednesday afternoon to have a look and offered to do the job for 1500.00. “We can start tomorrow morning at 8:30am”. So I said great. Let’s get er’ done! Andrew shook my hand, I presume a contract agreement. The crew showed up an hour late Thursday morning. Andrew was not there. Later I was told he was in America on an extended vacation and his phone was not working and would not be available for consultation. I was not impressed. The one ladder the crew brought was too short. Luckily I had a two-story extension ladder available. And later a wide broom to clean the roof. That’s what they used. When they were finished and gone I discovered they had applied the wrong shingles. I made it very clear to Andrew that the whitest shingles available was the only thing acceptable. He even told me my house roof was Birchwood and he could at least match that. But Andrew wasn’t available. When the job was complete I was told cash or e-transfer only. Wut? 😳 The email quote said 1500 + taxes. They wouldn’t take a cheque. Not happy about that either. I wanted to pay by credit card to Newfoundland Roofers. There is no company called Newfoundland Roofers to accept my payment. it’s just a numbered Ontario company. I didn’t know who these guys were. Nor could I make payment to Andrew. Not happy about that and I had to ask for a receipt. An extra 42 dollars was added just for using a credit card. In closing, my beef is the shady process I was given to make final payment on a colour I didn’t order and the fact that Andrew the owner of Newfoundland Roofers was never present. He didn’t inform me he was leaving for America within hours of my quote and would not be available for communication. The quality of work and customer service are two separate issues that don’t match. Andrew had one job to do!!!😡 I was just informed

  Cut corners on repairs not responsive on calls gutters leaked and looked like snot. Can't get a receipt from him for tax purposes put vents in without cutting hole for ventilation overall do not use this company

  Very poor workmanship, customer service is poor, have left many messages and no return call. Do not recommend this company very shady.. another fly by night here today gone tomorrow business. Will be in touch with the better business bureau.

  From start to finish they did an amazing job. I’m very impressed with the roof that was installed. Dealing with Andrew was an absolute pleasure. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

  Can’t say enough good things about Andrew and team! We’ve been in a pinch several times that needed quick roof fixes. From raccoon damage that needed to be fixed before a rain storm to clearing ice damming before it caused an issue, Andrew has been there to help! Knowledgeable, quick and responsive. Great to work with.

  Tier 1 bunch of guys! Andrew is quick to get back, the team was thorough and communicated their plans for installing eavestroughs well. Pricing is great too

  Andrew was quick to respond and had someone out to fix my metal roof within 24 hours. His crew even went above and beyond to remedy flaws left by another company. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family who are in need of roof repairs or replacements.

  Excellent work! Quality, workmanship, courteous, friendly, fair pricing, timely--all excellent attributes!! Would highly recommend to anyone! (Love that he showed us the before and after pictures since we weren't about to climb up the roof to look. )

  One call to my brother Andrew and I had a quote same day five hours away. Team arrived the next day. Work was completed. Ground was cleaner then when they got here. Guys were very professional and polite. Bp shingles and the roof looks amazing the wife loves it .. thank you guys for the great work .. definitely recommend this team for your roofing and exterior needs!
