NEMA Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for NEMA Roofing.

I called this company for an estimate. It sounded like I was talking to a call center outside the U.S. They seem like a front for independent roofing crews not attached to an actual local business. Even the locations for the Oxnard and Santa Barbara offices on Google Maps don't seem legit. Be careful, folks!

Hi Palmer, I’m not sure where the confusion is coming from, but I can assure you that NEMA Roofing Solutions is a well-established and reputable business in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. I’ve built strong relationships with multiple property management companies, and my company has been recognized by local news stations and featured in Conejo Valley’s FRONT - COVER magazine — an article that goes in-depth about our work and our reputation. https://citylifestyle.com/conejovalley/issues/2025-02 You can also see my YouTube channel, where we have multiple video testimonials from previous customers, including myself — my face is featured in the video, on my website, and all across my social media. My presence is also highlighted on the front pages of magazines, demonstrating that I’m deeply involved in the local community and take great pride in our work. https://youtube.com/@nemaroofingsolutions6159?si=x-JXqEdG998oJMZj We’ve built a solid reputation through dedication and hard work. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Here is the link to a local news station interview I did in Santa Barbara https://keyt.com/news/santa-barbara-s-county/2023/02/27/commercial-roof-caves-in-during-storm/ Best regards, Adam Owner, NEMA Roofing Solutions

NEMA Roofing did a great job on my roof. The crew worked hard, communicated well, and the finished roof looks excellent. There were a couple of hiccups along the way — an unusual dryer vent issue and some confusion around the close‑out paperwork — but they were very responsive, and everything was ultimately resolved, and the Malarkey Certified Pro warranty was successfully registered. Overall, I’m happy with the workmanship and appreciate the effort the team put into making sure I was satisfied.

Nema provided a clear, concise and very reasonable estimate to replace my very old and damaged roof. Mike and his crew always arrived on time, worked extremely hard even in extreme heat, and cleaned my property at the end of each day. There were some unforeseen repairs that needed to be done, and each step and the reasoning behind doing these were explained. The additional cost for these repairs was minimal, and worth it. I am thrilled with the work that Nema Roofing did! This year will be certainly the first time in over a decade when it does not rain in my living room.

After a poorly done job from a previous company, these guys swooped in and saved me. 1. Transparent consultation. The costs aligned exactly with the quotes that were given to me and if there were any potential fees, I was informed. I highly appreciated the transparent and thorough consultation. 2. Great communication. There was always someone contacting me about the progress of my repair. I knew exactly what was going on at all times. Very consistent in their communication. 3. Cleanliness. I'm used to seeing scraps and junk around my driveway after a service but these guys left my place sparkling clean after they were done. 4. Quality. Their attention to detail is exceptional. My roof looks so clean now, the difference is clear. Once again, I highly recommend Nema Roofing if you're looking for efficiency and remarkable craftsmanship.

Lorrie, thank you so much for your glowing recommendation and for sharing how our team was able to help during a difficult time. I’m so glad Mel and the crew could get out in the storm to tarp the roof, navigate the permitting and HOA paperwork, and handle mold testing, removal, and repairs. We understand how stressful managing everything from four hours away can be, especially with your sister’s memory issues, and we’re honored you trusted us to make her home safe. If you need anything else or have questions in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to help.

Putting this here because I know how much research everyone does before picking a roofer. We got four quotes for a full replacement and Adam was the only one who sat at our kitchen table and walked us through what he was actually proposing. He brought sample shingles, showed us the difference between the architectural ones and the basic 3 tab, and didn't push us toward the most expensive option. The crew showed up on the day they said. They had the old roof off by lunch and the new one mostly on by the end of day one. Day two was finishing details and cleanup. They ran a magnet over the whole yard and driveway twice for nails which I appreciated since we have a dog. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

My neighbor mentioned Thomas was the guy to call for a new roof so I just went with him. I was mostly worried about the mess but they kept the driveway clear of nails and debris the whole time. The roof installation looks solid and they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need. It was a quick process and they actually showed up when they said they would.

Being a woman who doesn't know much about roofing usually means getting hit with crazy high quotes from people who think they can pull a fast one. Adam was totally different and gave me a fair breakdown of the materials without any of that condescending attitude I got from other places. He explained the venting system and why the cheaper quotes I got elsewhere were probably cutting corners on the flashing. I’m glad I checked the reviews for roofers in oxnard and found him because he was punctual and actually took pride in the small details.

A huge shout out to the crew for handling a messy tile removal at my place after the old ones started sliding off and hitting the driveway. I had heard about their work through a friend and they really lived up to the hype. Mike and the guys were out here early every morning and they even threw in a gutter cleaning which I seriously appreciated since those things were packed with grit. If you are scrolling through all the roofers by the beach trying to find someone reliable just stop here. They finished way ahead of schedule and left the yard cleaner than they found it.

To be honest I usually expect the worst when hiring for home repairs because I have been burned by lazy crews before. However the team at Nema Roofing Repair changed my mind pretty quickly. Mike was very straightforward about what needed to be done immediately and what could wait another year or two. There was no high pressure hovering or weird hidden fees when the bill came. It is refreshing to find a company that just does the job they promised for the price they quoted without any drama.
