  No felt under shingles Straight on particle board

  Hello Francis, We don’t have a record of you being a customer of ours. We never install roofs without underlayment. We no longer use felt, only high quality synthetic underlayments. All of our roofs are inspected daily to ensure our installations are compliant with all building codes and best roofing practises.   Very expensive. Left roofing to extend completely over the gutter in some places, and more than half way in many places. Rolled roofing- could have been trimmed straight and even.

  Had my roof replaced last year. They threw together a last minute crew who were an unprofessional disaster. Had another roofing company stop to tell me all they were doing wrong. Now my skylight leaks non stop. They came to fix/replace once and then basically told me it’s a ‘me’ problem now. I’ve installed fans-still mold. They dropped old shingles down the flute of my hot water tank, so toxic smoke cane out every time I used it. Confused, I had the hot water tank replaced and the plumber pulled off a big burnt shingle. He was shocked, me not so much. Would not recommend.

  Had Milne install a new roof, started leaking within 5 months! Now Brian is not answering his business phone or his cell phone. Why pay thousands for a worse roof?? I can't believe this guy won't even come out to look at the problem his minimum-wage day labourers made....

  I would highly recommend Milne. They showed up when they said they would and were quick to respond. Their contracts showed up on time too. We’ve had no issues with the roof, it looks great and was completely within a few days. We found very little remnants of the project, they did a great job cleaning up.

  We had an amazing experience with Milne Roofing. Shawn is very thorough and communicative throughout the entire process. He is very knowledgeable with his trade and an overall true professional. We had our roof completed during the off season to which the crew had to work around the rain. Any sunny day to be had the crew would show up in a timely manner and complete a section of roof to ensure the utmost protection as rain would be forecasted the next day. They worked hard and fast. The project was completed in a timely manner and the crew did an exceptional job of the clean up. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Milne Roofing will always be our recommendation to anyone looking for roofing services.

  Milne roofing is by far the best roofing company in Nanaimo. The guys were prompt. Worked super hard and got the job done in 2 days. Sean is very easy to work with and says what he means and means what he says. I would definitely use them again but I won’t have to with the awesome work they did!!

  Milne Roofing had put on a new roof for us 16 years ago. After the recent bomb cyclone we had a roof leak. Buck promptly showed up when he said he would and fixed the leak. Excellent service and a very nice guy.

  Very professional from start to finish. Great to work with. We had an 11,000 sqft, roof done on one of our rental warehouse's. Our tenant was also very impressed by the consideration given by Milne's work crew. They provided us with a very thoughtful opinion of certain things we needed to address and never once felt like they were trying to run up the bill. They delivered everything in a timely manner.   Workng from strong recommendations from two friends, I contacted Milne to replace two large sections of our roof. James from Milne examined the roof carefully and provided us with a thorough breakdown of what was needed and a fair quote for the torch-on application. The four person crew arrived shortly after. I was fully impressed by the professional quality of their work and the care they took in the details of working with some of the unique challenges our older home presented. All through the process, the communication with James, Mike and the crew was really clear and the final outcome was excellent. I highly recommend Milne. Neil - May 30 2024
