  They did a bad job, admitted it was a bad job, and splattered paint all over our house and yard then threatened to vandalize our house because we wanted to be compensated.

  After about 5 months of having the new roof put on I must say I am pretty disappointed. I noticed my drywall bubbling up and very moist a few weeks ago. After having another contractor inspect where the issue was, it came down to the seams in edge of the roof not being sealed. This could have been much worse than it was but thankfully I was able to catch it in time. The cheapest quote is not always the best quote. 2k later, my drywall is fixed and my seams are sealed. I will not be referring anyone to this company again.

  I was assured that an inspection could be completed to determine the roof age of my home but once the inspector arrived it was pretty clear that he did not want to complete my request as he continuously urged me to contact the roofing company who replaced the roof even though I already explained that I would be unable to contact them. After the inspection was complete I was told that I’d receive the inspection report later that day but never received it.

  I was referred to Mighty Dog Roofing by my real estate agent. After looking at the attic and roof, they explained what they found. I was impressed that they discussed with me the different types of shingles and what was needed for the weather conditions here. They described their roofing materials and process for installation. I was advised about particular upgrades I could choose. They have software that allows you to see your house with the different colors so you can make your selection. The price was $10K less than the company that gave me an estimate the day before using the same materials and process. Mighty Dog installed the roof in one day and everything was cleaned up before they left.

  Our neighbor had a partial ceiling collapse due to roof damage. Heavy rain was expected and our neigbor was frantic. Rafael came to the rescue, fixed a tarp over the damaged section of roof the day we called. We do appreciate his rapid response and care. Excellent job that will hold her until the roof can be repaired.

  Mighty dog roofing was very professional and helpful with replacing the front of our roof after a tree fell on our house. The damage was significant and unfortunately there were a lot of complications along the way such as insurance not being easy to deal with and the fact that the shingles on our roof were discontinued. However, the project manager went above and beyond in helping to keep our home safe, communicating with insurance on our behalf, and hunting down a retailer who happened to have just enough shingles left to keep the front of our house matching the rest. The work was done with professionalism and care. If anyone I know needs a roofer in the future, I will be recommending Mighty Dog!

  Mighty Dog was recommended to me by another contractor and their prompt response to my enquiry after a storm on 6/14 was outstanding! Kenneth (on-site manager) was extremely professional and helpful when he came to my property on June 15th after I had experienced roof damage from tree damage during the storm. He helped me immensely by taking lots of photographs and guiding me into what needed to be done regarding the roof and gutter issues. Kenneth also helped me with a personal item prior to the gutter installation and painted fascia for me as i was recovering from surgery and couldn't do much of anything. I can highly recommend Mighty Dog Roofing for your needs. Very helpful, professional and responsive to needs of the customer.

  We had our entire roof replaced by Mighty Dog Roofing. We were in a bit of a hurry because we were preparing the house to list it for sale. Coleson was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional! He understood our situation from the start and worked with us to get financing, which we were able to get in its entirety including signed papers in under a half hour. The final product is beautiful!   STRONGLY RECOMMEND Mighty Dog Roofing – Richmond! – Details Below With our 21-year-old house, we have done well to keep up with maintenance. We decided to replace our rather sizable roof after recognizing the north end of the house shingles were starting to show signs of wear which is very typical. While we could have squeezed a few more years out of the original roof, we did not want to be in a pinch to get it done due to leaks and the like. I took five bids for the project, some were higher, some were lower than Mighty Dog Roofing – Richmond (MD-R). The lower bids did not seem to carry the same level of installation materials, ice shield, quality of shingle, drip edge etc. Further, higher bids came with upcharge options like drip edge. Note, many houses built in the 2005 range did not include drip edge from the builder. We felt very comfortable with the Mighty Dog Roofing bid and expected materials and installation. As well, part of our installation included some construction work to add roof eves on the back of our home (we have them everywhere else but the back did not which always bothered us a little). Additional work was done to our pergola which needed some attention. Mighty Dog Roofing - Richmond came out and gave us drone footage of our roof. As anticipated, we felt the time was now and frankly, did not want to wait until everyone else is wanting or in need of a new roof. We opted for now. We scheduled for the installation in the Spring of 2026. We opted for an Owens Corning Class four shingle. Coleson delivered the estimate and scheduled the job. Every interaction with MD-R staff and the installation was professional and all our concerns were address fully. Knowing a little of construction and having roofed a few homes over the years, either my own or as Habitat or Church projects, I know good care and process was undertaken. While no project is without minor punch items, these too were addressed fully. At the end of each work period,
