  I left a glowing review for this company three years ago due to the customer service and the job I thought they did. I’m not a roofer so I didn’t know the roof shingles were poorly installed and placed directly over rotting wood due to moisture until the “new” roof started leaking! We called this company after a different contractor came to patch our roof to temporarily stop the leaking. He pointed out so many installation issues that we reconnected with Mighty Dog and they agreed the roof they put on three years prior was poorly installed. Our roof was under warranty and they agreed to put on a new roof. During the process, my spouse made several attempts to point out rotted wood under the shingles, specifically the rafters. Unfortunately she was not listened to and the new roof was placed on wood that was damaged, due in part, to the previous poor job they did. They even cut off the ends of two rafter tails and did not sister in new rafters, leaving the structural integrity of our roof compromised. We have spent a lot of money and time repairing our rafters and our interior ceilings due to water. We are very disappointed by the final products both times this company did work on our home. Buyer beware.

  I called on 1/9/2024 and scheduled a appointment with Mighty Dog Roofing to come out on 1/10/2024 to look into a roof leak repair. The technician called me on 1/10/2024 to say he was going to check it out earlier than the scheduled time although no one would be home until later in the afternoon. He said he would give me an update afterwards. To date, I have not heard anything from anyone. This is very unprofessional and not a good look for the business. Unreliability can really damage your reputation. I could have scheduled another company to come out to get the repair done instead of relying on Mighty Dog Roofing, especially because more rain was scheduled for Friday.

  Mr. Hill, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak. We have been trying to reach you for several months now with no return phone calls or emails.. Please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we may have an opportunity to try and remedy your situation. The roof repair you required was complicated, two layers of shingles, damaged decking, damaged mortar chimney, when we informed you of the condition. We suggested replacing the entire section and agreed on a price and payment. However, since we have completed the work. You have not responded to us or communicated in any way. Again, please call us. We are here to help as we did in your case and not take advantage of people hence the reason we have been serving the upstate for over 10years. I apologize for the lengthy response and am hopeful you will call. I hate to use this forum as a way to communicate but have no other choice at this point. Again, We look forward to speaking with you.

  I called into this place to have a roof inspection. I got a email confirmation of my appointment that the owner of the company was coming out to do the inspection. I took off of work early because the latest one they could do is 4:00. No one showed up so at 4:30 I reached out and I talked to 4 different people and they all had the same thing to say that they didn’t know what happened and they would let the front office know and one person I talked to at 5:30 said they didn’t see my appointment for today so I went to my emails and they had deleted out when my appointment that was sent to me for date time and who was coming but I’m glad I screenshot it because I have proof. They have yet to reach out or anything so from now on I will no longer be using this company for anything!
