  I am giving 2 stars because the end product looks good (except my chimney) and there don't appear to be any leaks. However, I was disappointed with the process. For starters the workers showed up a whole day early at 7:20 in the morning with no real warning. They spray painted the chimney flashing right on the chimney so now the brick has black spray paint on it. They also spray painted something directly on my driveway so I now have a black paint rectangle in my driveway. And although they did get all the trash in the end, they were literally throwing trash in trees and bushes while they worked. At one point my fiance went outside and one of the workers was asking him about boxes they saw in our attic and asked if we needed them? That was pretty unprofessional. They also were dropping product on my roof so hard to the point that recessed lighting actually popped out of my ceiling and they caused cracking in the plaster of my dining room ceiling and a crack in the tile grout coming down from the ceiling of one of my showers. The foreman was also trying to watch two jobs so he wasn't there to communicate with us how much plywood was being used and was late getting to us with an issue with vent fans. The workers took the fans out and covered them up without saying anything and were going to finish, leaving me with no venting in my roof, and we had to scramble to add on a ridge vent to the job at the last minute. The foreman also told us he would give us 4 free pieces of plywood as a deal since we needed so much, but then the woman on the phone gave me a price that was higher than that. And then when the work was done there was no walk through or inspection with us. They literally just left without saying anything. It took over a week to get the final invoice and then I never got any confirmation that they received my final payment. So overall I was disappointed with the lack of communication.   Hi Brittany, thank you so much for taking my call on Tuesday. I am glad we were able to address your concerns and we got the opportunity to fix the chimney flashing, again as I stated in our call a few key things....Your fiancé spoke with our Field supervisor Jacob and the crews, and He was the one who requested ridge vent since BOTH attic fans were in bad condition, this decision was made to be the most cost effective as possible. Also, about the miscommunication for cost of plywood, our Field supervisor explained we make sure the homeowner is made aware of more than 4 sheets of bad plywood, he did not offer to give you 4 free sheets and the price listed per sheet of plywood was not the amount you paid for each of the 30 sheets we replaced on your roof. As a courtesy to cut down the cost for you as much as possible we even discounted the plywood. About the boxes in the attic, since so many sheets of plywood were being replaced and ridge vent was being cut into the attic the crew member was asking if the boxes should be moved or cleaned off. Our field supervisor said that he recalled speaking with your fiancé before they left your jobsite. We always try and communicate that the job has been completed. Your house was under construction. Debris, banging and noise is an unavoidable result of removing and replacing a roof. Again, these things are listed in our contract under “Things to Expect during a roof replacement”. Unfortunately, the cracks in the drywall and loose fixtures can also be a result of a new roof. We called to let you know your final invoice was being emailed and you elected not to respond or call us to voice any of your concerns before placing this review. You nor your fiancé gave any indication of displeasure. Which is why I immediately called you upon the discovery of such review.   Zero stars if I could. I’m buying a new house and they installed a new roof as part of the deal. Roof was on the cheaper side, so I called Midshore wanting the new roof inspected before settlement. First they told me 190 then when I called to confirm it was 250. When the inspector drove by before the appointment, he saw the roofers sign in the yard and knew the guy. He said he didn’t know why I wanted it inspected, wanted to call the roofer because they are friends before coming to inspect because “I don’t want to cause the roofer any trouble”. Obviously lucky he didn’t just come out and take my money with a bias like that. Would not trust this company at all, it’s a wife and husband small company that appears like they are large, the wife is the dispatcher and would not answer my calls after this event.

  Zach Hammons, first of all we did not install a new roof for you. $190 is what we charge as a minimum service call charge not a roof inspection. When we called to confirm your appointment it was then stated you were looking for a full roof inspection with report and photos which is why it changed to $250. That being said no money was collected upfront and you were never charged for anything. When Brian arrived he noticed the roof was brand new with another roofing companies sign still in the yard. Had it been disclosed to us that the roof was brand new we would not have scheduled a time to even look at the roof but would have advised the homeowner to contact the shingle manufacturer and installer for inspection. As a new roof should come with a warranty and someone else being on it could void their warranty. You did not even allow Brian the opportunity to explain this as you became belligerent, cursed him out and hung up on him before he could even speak. We have been in business for nearly 20 years, are well known and trusted in our communities which we are very proud of. We did not get this way by taking advantage of homeowners or fellow contractors and we certainly would never speak to someone they way you spoke to us. Had we actually completed any work for you, you would know this!

  Went with this company due to a friend's recommendation. Called in June and they finally came out to do my repair in August. Just had a home inspection and found out that my roof is still leaking, so I called Midshore Exteriors office to ask them to address the issue. I was told that I was no longer in their service area (They just posted on Facebook yesterday about finishing a roof in Ocean City, but Fruitland isn't in their service area) and that August was a "long time ago". She actually said "if we were talking about a few weeks ago, that would be a different story." Really disappointed all the way around, because they were recommended so highly. If you want someone who stands behind their work, this is not the company to go with.

Our intent was only to communicate that Fruitland is not an area we are in often and it maybe a little bit before we can get out an address your issue. If the leak is related to the pipe boot we replaced we will gladly address it. We actually left you a message to coordinate us coming out later this week to your home and have not heard back.

  None of our three attic fans were working. I called MidShore Exteriors for help. They scheduled the service, arrived on time, completed the work in a timely fashion, and everyone was professional. This is the second time they've helped us. We will certainly work with them again if other issues arise...

  I recently had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours training up and learning more about this amazing company. On thing I took away is that this group clearly cares about doing things the right way. The team was engaged, thoughtful, and asked great questions on how to better leverage Project Map It. The leadership is definitely strong wtih Sarah Faulkner and her entire team. Brandt leads the sales team, and it’s obvious that Julie and Briana keep operations running smoothly on the back end.   We’ve had the opportunity to work with Mid Shore Exteriors a couple of times over the last few years on home improvement projects and every experience has been excellent.
