I have been trying to reach this company for over 6 weeks. Phone calls go to voice mail and messages left are not returned. Any suggestions on how to get in contact? I need to buy materials for a small addition as it has to match their existing roofing material.

I moved into a home with a metal roof installed by this company that was done around 2014 by a prior owner. The company advertises their product and workmanship as "your last roof" and that it has a 50 year warranty. What they don't advertise is that they will not honor the warranty (if not transferred in 30 days) or workmanship (no transfer whatsoever) if the home is sold. Fast forward to today and I have a leaky roof in one corner of the house, less than 10 years later. After messaging the company and providing video showing where the leak was, they wanted to charge me ~$300 just to look at it, including a $1/km charge for travel to my location and back, even though I am well within their service area. This quote only came across after waiting nearly 2 weeks for the owner to reply. After trying to negotiate the quoted travel expense, which I found unreasonable, I was basically told to find another contractor and they dont negotiate. All this after their own poor workmanship. The company obviously does not care about their product or reputation and I would personally advise you to look elsewhere for such a major investment in your home.

Patrick, we regret that we are not able to help you with the leak you are currently experiencing. We have provided an estimate to do so and you have declined it. The material warranty (50 Year) for the product on your home is issued by the manufacturer and is their sole responsibility. It is their terms of transferability not that of Metal Roofing Solutions. We are a distributor of the product and have no control over their requirements or parameters of that warranty. Our workmanship warranty is 10 years and not transferrable. In this specific situation, it would seem extremely unlikely that any metal roof that is a concealed fastened system, and has never leaked previously, would begin leaking after 10 years; unless there has been a change to the integrity of the system via damage to flashings, seals, vents, chimneys, etc. Unlike some roofing substrates, metal doesn't "wear out" or lose its ability to shed water because of degradation over time. Some steel roofs are 100 years old. The original workmanship of the roof installation was clearly of great standard, supported by the fact that if the installation of a metal roof is not done well and to specification, you will have issues almost immediately. Certainly, within one full transition of seasons. It will not be ~ 10 years later. This situation is unfortunate, and our best solution was to advise you that we can quote to investigate, and repair if minor while onsite for the investigation. If not, the standard labor rate would apply. The estimate provided was within the industry standard to have 2 technicians to site (one technician cannot safely access the roof alone for the pitch of this roof), set up ladders etc. inspect the outside of the roof as well as the attic space within the home and if minor (sealant, bent flashing etc.), complete the repair at approx. $300.00 including travel costs. We are sorry that you are not happy with the estimate and therefore have chosen to go elsewhere but the estim

If you are contemplating a metal roof for your home this is the company to choose. My wife and I got several quotes and Metal Roofing Solutions’ quote was competitive. My wife and I just felt really comfortable with Colleen and we knew the product was high quality so our decision was an easy one. The product looks even better than we expected. Thrilled with the whole process from the start to finish. 5 stars for sure!

We had our roof done by Metal Roofing Solutions 5 years ago. We have since built an addition. We just had the addition done in the same product and couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Our home looks like it was done all at the same time. Great company ! Highly recommend.
