  I do not recommend, watch all work performed. Amended review based on owner reply. 1. Project is less than 2 years old from completion 2. I never stated it was refreshing to have a company that truly cares about customer service, going the extra mile, or any of the other comments made. If a homeowner has to continually watch a project, and call the GC during installation due to ongoing installation issues they would not make those comments. 3. My understanding from the day the manufacturer came out was they would not warranty the roof as originally installed. Due to overhang and poor tar paper installation requiring the "upgraded" ice and water shield fix. I thought I was very fair allowing you to remove a perimeter section of the shingles and make repairs. watching you separate the sealed tabs on the singles gave me concern. 4. Gutter guard had to be replaced due to the extremely poor first installation. 5. Sub-Contractor workmanship, professionalism, were poor. Communication impossible as none of them spoke English. Working on my roof after dark with headlamps, finding improper things the next morning in my yard gave me concerns as to OSHA safety, as well as the late evening noise very inconvenient for myself and neighbors. I consider this issue closed but can provide photos taken at time of installation as needed to confirm.

However, I must admit we were a bit surprised by your recent comments, especially considering this project was completed two years ago and, at that time, you had expressed your satisfaction with the outcome. In fact, I recall our final conversation quite clearly. You thanked me for going the extra mile to resolve your concern and even appreciated the complimentary upgrade we provided to ensure the issue was addressed thoroughly. To recap briefly: after completion, you contacted me with a concern regarding the shingle overhang. Upon arriving at your home you handed me a diagram that you drew up of your roof. You informed me that after reading the product installation manual you went around the roof measuring the shingle overhang every two feet and that the manual calls for a 3/8 inch overhang. Your diagram showed the perimeter shingles we installed had a 3/4 – 1 inch overhang. I immediately contacted the manufacturer, both the territory and district managers accompanied me and visited you onsite. They confirmed the installation did not compromise the warranty but acknowledged the overhang was beyond the manual’s specification. At your request, we returned the following week and not only corrected the overhang but also upgraded the entire perimeter with ice and water shield at no cost to you. Once we were finished you measured the overhang around the roof again and told me you were pleased with the result. You paid in full and even commented on how refreshing it was to find a company that truly cares about customer service. If something has changed over the years or if there are any new concerns, we’d be more than happy to stop by and discuss them. Our commitment to customer satisfaction remains the same today as it did then. Thank you for your detailed response. The project was completed the summer of 2023 so almost two years ago. The

  Lucas came out today for an emergency roof issue after a storm, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He rearranged his personal schedule to make sure he could get to me quickly, knowing more storms were on the way tonight. He went above and beyond—not only fixing the damage but also helping me search for pieces of my roof so he could properly repair it instead of just patching it and coming back later. Awesome service and an awesome guy. Highly recommend!

  I cannot say enough good things about Lucas Construction. We needed a lot of exterior work done due to storm damage. We initially went with a different company. The initial company was difficult to deal with and left us hanging after only completing some of the work. We still needed siding, gutters, and other work done. We eventually found Lucas Construction. We are so glad we did. The company restored our trust in contractors. David, our Project Manager, was pleasant to deal with and made the whole process easy. He expertly dealt with our insurance company and was able to get additional work covered while also saving us money along the way. The additional work was completed ahead of the insurance deadline. Should another storm cause major damage in the future, we already know we’re going to go with Lucas Construction. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.   They are the very best to deal with when having a roofing issue. I lost shingles in a storm last year and they took care of the issue quickly and efficiently. Today I had to have D.J. & Scotty out to check another area of concern. They came out once again and were amazing to deal with!
