I have worked with Fred Leon for 39 years now with total satisfaction. Fred has done many different home repairs and renovation on our house over time. It is rare to find this type of expertise and honesty. Fred even redid work that another contractor did not do very well. Completely trustworthy and excellent craftsmanship combined! I highly recommend Leon Roofing and Restoration.

Freddy Leon and his team replaced the roof at a house of mine about 10 years. Their carpentry work also made it more architecturally appealing and added to the curb appeal. In addition they repointed multiple chimneys and the copper work was perfection. I recently moved and my current home's roof has some flaws that resulted in ice damning/leaks. Freddy and team showed up the next day to address. They do a great job

They were honest, hardworking, and always showed up on time. Communication was clear, and they left the area spotless every day. Freddy solved an intractable problem with our leaking chimney, rebuilding a large section and repointing the rest. The new work is impeccable, exactly matching the other chimneys on the house. He also corrected some problems with our copper gutters, hand fashioning special copper hangers for them. He is a true craftsman, offering intelligent, creative solutions to problems, and he and his team were uniformly conscientious, hard-working, and congenial. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Freddy and his team have done a number of repairs on my red brick home built in 1939 over the past few years. Recently, they replaced a large area of weather damaged brick. Because of a drainage issue, the side porch was demolished, the drainage repaired properly and the porch was rebuilt. Freddy identified additional drainage issues that were also repaired. They replaced all exterior doors and storm doors. His team are very hard working and diligent workmen. Freddy is a master craftsman and a wonderful person to work with!!

Freddy and his team at Leon Restoration were invaluable in turning my 70-year old monstrosity into a masterpiece, essentially rebuilding my home from the outside in. Freddy is a true craftsman when it comes to any copper work, which is essential in preventing any water leaks. The team at Leon Restoration repaired and replaced the roof, gutters and downspouts, siding, deck, removed a horrible illegally constructed stairwell and replaced it with a new cellar door that doesn’t leak, demo’d multiple layers of old kitchen and bathroom flooring so that the new hardwood floors would be flush with the existing, rebuilt my rotting and termite-damaged garage and weird breezeway, repaired, replaced my front entry that had an incorrect pitch (causing water to go toward and into the building, which meant rot and termites), custom made all new copper flashing for all the new exterior windows and doors so that they won’t leak water, and replaced all the insulation and added additional support and Blueskin along the way. They not only restored my house, they rebuilt it and made it much better than it ever was before. I highly recommend Leon Restoration for roofing and everything else, because they can do it all!

Gutter Installation for Better Roof Drainage and Water Control A properly installed gutter system helps move rainwater away from the roofline, siding, foundation, and landscaped areas around the home. Good gutter installation starts with correct sizing, secure attachment, and enough slope to direct water toward the downspouts. When gutters sag, overflow, or drain too close to the structure, moisture can collect where it should not and may contribute to staining, soil erosion, or water intrusion around vulnerable exterior areas. The system shown uses continuous gutters along the roof edge with a connected downspout carrying water toward ground level. This type of layout helps collect runoff from the shingles before it reaches the walls or foundation. The image also highlights options such as custom fitting, copper or standard gutter materials, leaf protection, and downspout repair or replacement. Each of these components plays a different role, but they need to work together so water can move through the system without unnecessary backups. When planning new gutters, roof size, drainage volume, downspout placement, and nearby trees should all be considered. Contact us to discuss a gutter system that fits your property and helps manage rainwater more effectively.13 hours agoCall now
