The most expensive quote we got was from them. Pushy and rude. We went with another company, we regret calling them for a quote. Be very cautious when you deal with Larry Haight's.

This review is not legitimate and does not reflect any work performed by our company. We have no record of this reviewer as a customer or of the situation described. Publishing inaccurate reviews is misleading to the public. We request that this review be removed or corrected. We take the time to thoroughly inspect the roof, identify underlying issues, and provide a complete, transparent scope of work. That level of detail ensures there are no surprises later and that the job is done right the first time. We’re sorry to hear the experience felt pushy, as our goal is always to be informative, not forceful. Many homeowners ultimately choose us because they recognize the value in a roof that’s installed correctly, backed by certified crews, and supported by a company that has stood behind its work since 1985. If you ever have questions with your roof in the future, we are here to help.

We had our 8 year old roof inspected to sell our house and found out it was leaking around chimney flashing. We called Larry Haight because they replaced our roof and roof to chimney flashing and it was still under warranty. The person from Larry Haight said the roof leaked from the counter flashing that goes over roof to chimney flashing. He said they didn’t replace that so it is not covered under warranty. They never suggested or gave us the option to replace that 40+ year old flashing., They didn’t inform us that replacing roof to chimney flashing only means replacing part of the flashing between roof and chimney but not all. Not only did they not replace it, “as a courtesy “ they cleaned and painted it, so from what can be seen it appeared new. They were the ones who cleaned and painted the counter flashing because they determined it was in such good shape it didn’t need to be replaced with the rest of the roof.

We’re disappointed by the misleading nature of this review and feel it’s important to clarify the facts. When we replaced your roof in 2016, your signed contract clearly stated that chimney counter flashing was not included in the scope of work. This was discussed with you at the time, and we explained the distinction between the roof-to-chimney flashing (which we did replace) and the counter flashing (which is part of the chimney masonry and typically handled by a mason, not a roofer). As a courtesy, we cleaned and painted the existing counter flashing because it was in good condition and did not warrant replacement. This was done to improve the overall appearance of the chimney, not to conceal anything or mislead anyone. When you contacted us years later about a leak, we responded promptly and found the issue was with the original counter flashing, not the roof or flashing we installed. Although this was clearly outside our warranty and responsibility, we still offered to help by wrapping the chimney and providing referrals to qualified masons. You declined both offers. Unfortunately, instead of appreciating the support and responsiveness we provided—even years after the work was completed—you chose to publicly misrepresent the situation. We've also seen inaccurate comments posted by others associated with you, which only further misrepresents the facts. We stand by our work and our record of customer service. We make every effort to be clear, fair, and responsive—and we were in this case. We encourage anyone with questions about our policies or work to contact us directly. — Larry Haight's Residential Roofing Team

Why is a single home roofing job taking well over a week? No one arrives to the work sight by the time I leave for work at 8, they are all leaving when I come home at lunch and then I get home from work and there’s pounding, a compressor and yelling until at least 8 at night. They’re a very nice crew, but I just don’t understand the hours. I’ve had a migraine since last Thursday that has warranted a Drs visit and a strong recommendation to go to the ER if it doesn’t lift today.

Be very cautious when you deal with Larry Haights. It is a company that is living on its past laurels. These days they think they are doing you a favor by replacing your roof, which shows in their attitude towards their customers. I went with Larry Haights based on recommendations from my neighbor. It was a big mistake. The whole experience was frustrating and unpredictable despite paying $30k. There are much nicer and more professional roof replacement companies out there. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

We are very sorry you feel the way you do. Communication is so important and if there were problems, letting us know who you are or a simple phone call could make things a lot easier for us to help. Thank you for choosing Larry Haight's Residential Roofing. Your roof has a lifetime workmanship warranty and is backed by a company that has maintained the highest standards of customer service since 1985.

Larry Haight lacks professionalism and honesty. If they couldn't do the work all he had to do is tell us. A real disappointment that wasted our time and money. - I'm not a fake reviewer, any more than all your other bad reviews on Google and Yelp.

This homeowner requested repairs to their roof. They stated the flashing around the roof anchor is worn out and needs to be replaced. We made an appointment to look at their roof and when we arrived, the homeowner would not allow us to get on the roof to inspect. We told the homeowner we needed to get on the roof to inspect. The homeowner would not allow us to inspect so we had to pass on the repair.

If I could give this company no stars I would. I normally don't write reviews but my interaction with this company warrants one. I reached out due to an unusual emergency situation that has me and my three children forced out of our home. The employee who answered the telephone was unhelpful, uncaring, and unwilling to find answers or give a referral, and out and out rude. I have worked in customer service my entire life and felt the owner of the company should know. When I emailed him, Larry Haight, sent me a scathing email back insisting this employee was fantastic at her job and that I was upset just because she would not simply make one effort to provide additional information. He also called me childish. I reached out to another roofing company who also could not help me but sympathized with my situation and eagerly put me into contact with someone who could. Whatever happened to customer service? I would not recommend this company to anyone simply for the way they treat people. Truly appalling. Who wants to give people like this their money

This homeowner called and asked us if we have ever deal with bats in an attic. We stated "I don't think so." The homeowner got irritated and asked if we could remove the roof, then wait while another company came in and cleaned up the mess. When this work was done then have us put the roof back on. We explained our backlog was a few months out. The homeowner then asked if we could just "slide her job in?" We explained that we don't do that as it's not fair to our current customers. After hearing this explanation this person just hung up the phone. This person then sent an email full of name calling and was offended that we couldn't help her nor did we give her name of a company that could help.

I have been looking for replacement of a roof that reached end of its useful life. I made a research in the area and Larry Haight's Roofing came up as #1 on the list in terms of reputation - this was through a reference from a friend who successfully used the business' services and was happy. I knew it'd be more expensive (as my source indicated), but I was willing to do so for a project that would last long time. I wanted to get it done right, on time, and without hassles. My expectation were fulfilled 100%. I had an initial very detailed discussion with Randy, who spent considerable time with me going over all the options and educating me so I could make informed decisions. All along I felt very well taken care of and at the end of the process I was certain as to what I'll do, at what costs and in what timeframe. Project start date and duration was set and in due time the project was started right on time. I had very good communication with Randy, Heidi and others at the company in the meanwhile - and was getting necessary support and help with the questions I had. The roof and gutters were replaced, and the end result exceeded my expectations. The crew foreman kept me updated about all developments and some (expected) deviations from the initial plan. I met with him on the site and was happy with his attitude and knowledge about specifics of the project - something I think any homeowner would want. After the project completed, there was a minor issue I needed to discuss with Michael (business owner). He listened to me carefully, was eager to fix it and went out of his way to keep me happy as a customer. I couldn't have wished for better attitude towards me. The price paid was not small, but reasonable - if you want to have someone's who knows what they do and are willing to take responsibility and put their name on line. I recommend Larry Haight's Roofing to anyone who wants to get a DURABLE result! Any extra money paid would go a long way.

Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful review and for trusting us with your home. It means a lot to know that your experience lived up to your expectations from the first meeting with Randy all the way through the completed roof and gutters. I'm especially grateful for your kind words about our team. The crew, and everyone in the office genuinely care about making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, so I'll be sure to share your compliments with them. Thank you as well for giving me the opportunity to address your concern after the project was completed. We know that no project is perfect, but we believe standing behind our work and taking care of our customers is what truly matters. We sincerely appreciate your recommendation and your confidence in our company. It was a pleasure working with you, and we hope you enjoy your new roof for many years to come!

This is an exceptional company to work with. From the first contact to the last clean up they have made a potentially stressful project easier than I thought would be possible . They were transparent with pricing. Their communication has been reliable and consistent every step of the way. The workmanship is incredible and the icing on the cake is that they are really good people. Our roof is flat and you can barely see it but I am absolutely thrilled with it!!

Overall, the quality of the roofing work appears to be good, and David, the on-site project manager, was professional and pleasant to work with throughout the project. Randy, the salesperson, was also courteous during the sales process and took the time to explain the quote and roofing procedures in detail. Because this is a single-level home, I was able to personally inspect much of the completed work, and the workmanship appears to be solid. However, the overall experience was frustrating due to the manner in which the quoting process and subsequent change orders were handled. The initial quote was lower than those provided by competitors, but it later became apparent that the amount of plywood and repair work required had not been fully estimated in advance. No plywood was included in the original quote, which, in retrospect, should have raised concerns. Once work commenced, additional change orders were presented almost daily. Based on the roof’s square footage, I had quote from multiple roofers initially that the project should require no more than approximately 70 sheets of plywood, including waste. After the project began, the estimate was quoted as upward to 80 sheets, which I questioned, yet the final total ultimately reached 91 sheets. An additional 11 sheets were used beyond the revised estimate without obtaining my prior approval. There was also a fascia replacement change order that I had signed; however, the final amount later doubled because the company stated that an error had been made in the original estimate. Ultimately, what began as an approximately $26,500 project increased to roughly $35,000 including taxes. My recommendation to future customers would be to insist on a far more comprehensive repair estimate at the outset and to clearly establish approval limits for any additional plywood or repair work before the project begins. Otherwise, the final cost may become significantly higher than anticipated. One additional disappointment is tha

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your comments regarding David, Randy, and the quality of the completed roof. We appreciate your recognition of their professionalism and are pleased to hear that you are happy with the workmanship. We would like to provide some additional context regarding the plywood replacement and change orders. The original contract included 10 sheets of plywood replacement based on the conditions visible during our inspection. As with any reroofing project, the condition of the roof decking cannot be fully evaluated until the existing roofing materials are removed. Once the roof was opened, it became apparent that substantially more of the decking had deteriorated than could have been identified during the estimating process. Rather than proceed without your knowledge, our team documented the conditions, discussed our findings with you throughout the project, and obtained approval before performing additional work. At no point was repair work completed without your authorization. In fact, the extent of the decking replacement was reviewed and discussed as it was discovered, and again during the final walkthrough after the project was completed. We understand that the final cost was significantly higher than originally anticipated. Unfortunately, the amount of hidden deterioration uncovered during the tear-off process required repairs that were necessary to provide a sound foundation for your new roof. Our responsibility is to identify these conditions, explain them clearly, and allow the homeowner to make informed decisions before work proceeds. You are also correct that an error was made on one fascia repair addendum. Once the discrepancy was identified, it was immediately addressed and corrected so that the pricing accurately reflected the scope of work being performed. We appreciated your involvement throughout the project and the communication we shared from start to finish. While no one likes discovering additi

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review, we truly appreciate the opportunity to work on your home. We are very glad to hear you are happy with the final result, and we appreciate you staying engaged throughout the process. It allowed us to make sure everything was completed to your expectations. Regarding the skylight area, thank you for bringing that to our attention. As we looked into it further, we found that the moisture was coming from gaps in the skylight well from the original installation, where it had not been fully trimmed out and sealed. We are glad we were able to identify the source and take care of it so the area is now properly sealed and performing as it should. Thank you again for your trust in our company, it truly means a lot to us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything in the future.

Larry Haight's Roofing (install crew, scheduler, forman) were very thorough and hard working during the job. I was on site during the entire project and they always accommodated me and my family if necessary. They were fully transparent and always kept me informed of progress and issues (though they were few). With this roof, I expect to never need another but if I did I would use Larry Haight's Roofiing again. They were awesome. Roofing is expensive and my project was a large roof but Larry Haight's bid was thorough and covered all aspects of roofing (I had the roof they removed installed 25+ years ago so I have some experience here) and while the roof was expensive, they came in with the lowest bid of the 3 vendors I had bid on the project. Again, if you have to do roofing, you would not go wrong with Larry Haight.

I picked Larry Heights after getting several quotes because of the fair price and confidence I got from speaking with Gorge. They delivered everything they promised. Friendly, courteous workers.
