Showed up, did inspection. Never sent a quote. I waited, no quote. I contacted Carlos and was told he sent it and would resend it. I gave my email again. Nothing. Wasted my time, and wasted time waiting for the quote that never came.

Steven, thank you for sharing this feedback, and we’re sorry for the missed quote and the time you spent waiting. We appreciate you noting the issue with the resend, and we’ll address this communication breakdown internally.

Ghosted me after coming to do an inspection. Took my email for a quote never heard back from him even after texting and calling. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  Reply from the business

Sorry about that Jesse, we dropped the ball on the follow up. That’s not the experience we aim to provide. If you can message us your name and project address, we’ll track down your info and send your quote over as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and the chance to make it right.

Carlos Padilla and his crew from Kaliber were a 5 star team for our roof replacement in Claremont. Carlos gave us a very reasonable bid and the project and the bid were done to perfection upon completion….. no hidden or extra costs. Carlos communicated with us throughout the project and was on site and/or in close contact with his Team Leader. The Kaliber Crew worked steadily for 2 1/2 days and their clean up was spotless! I highly recommend contacting Carlos Padilla Kaliber Roofing. Robi Inserra

Carlos gave me a quote a few months back while i was in escrow. When the time came to start the project, he honored the cost and started work immediately. handled all permitting with the city and made the whole process smooth. His team showed up early every day and knocked the project out in 3 days. Very affordable and great work. Kaliber roofing offered the best value of the 3 bids I received, and the best warranty. Will definitely be using Kaliber again for any future roofing needs.

Thank you, Kevin! Honoring the original quote even months later, permitting handled from our end, and a 3-day turnaround — that's the process working exactly the way it should. Glad we stood out on both value and warranty when you had other bids to compare. Looking forward to working with you again on any future roofing needs! Carlos Kaliber Roofing Inc.

I highly recommend Kaliber Roofing Inc for roofing projects. They beat three other licensed contractors(20+ years experience) to win my roof repair project. Owner Carlos is able to offer me quicker appointment to check ceiling water damage and get on my roof to discuss a customized local repair for more cost friendly repair budget. Repair team came on time, job was done as discussed and I was allowed to take a look at roof valley water damage after tile removal. Job site was cleaned very well after work. All pipe seal were updated and all broken tiles were replaced plus 5 years licensed contractor repair warranty. Carlos team also unfold edges of the valley flashing board to create a hem for rain water side flow protection. They even do free extra help to cut some tiles for wider roof valley openings of the repair valley plus another long valley the other side of my roof. Their digital invoice system is super quick and easy to generate/revise invoice and deliver final receipt. I am glad to find such a good quality roof repair business based on google/Yelp review, License board and BBB background checking.

Thank you, Alex, for such a thorough review! I'm glad we could offer a more cost effective, targeted repair instead of pushing a bigger job than you needed. Letting you see the valley damage firsthand after tile removal was important to me, full transparency on what we found and why. The extra work on the flashing hems and cutting tiles for the valley openings was about doing the repair right, not just checking a box. Thank you for digging into our licensing and background before choosing us, and for the recommendation! Carlos Kaliber Roofing Inc.

Thank you, Isaac! No surprise price increases and real protection for your property while we work are things I won't cut corners on, glad that showed. It also means a lot that you recognized the value even without being the cheapest bid; quality materials and workmanship are worth paying for. Thank you for the praise and for choosing Kaliber! Kaliber Roofing Inc. did an excellent job performing maintenance on my concrete tile roof. The Carlos and the team was professional, knowledgeable, and arrived on time. They thoroughly inspected the roof, completed the maintenance with great attention to detail, and explained everything they found and the work they performed. I appreciated how clean they left the property and how easy they were to communicate with throughout the process. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend Kaliber Roofing Inc. to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality roofing maintenance.

Alex, thank you for taking the time to write this. Concrete tile roofs need a careful eye during maintenance, and I'm glad that attention to detail came through in the walkthrough, I always want customers to actually understand what we found up there and why we did what we did, not just get a receipt. Keeping the property clean and staying easy to reach throughout are things I take personally. Thank you for recognizing that and for the strong recommendation! Carlos Kaliber Roofing Inc.

Very competitive pricing and painless coordination of work. Carlos was very clear and even repainted some fascia for free. They finished the work effectively and quickly!

Carlos Padilla and his crew did an amazing job replacing our roof. We have a complicated roof that needed custom woodwork. They did a beautiful job matching our eves and paint. Beyond that, the crew was friendly, hardworking and went beyond our expectations. They do a great job cleaning up before they leave. We highly recommend Kaliber!

  Reply from the business

Erica, thank you for this. Custom woodwork and matching existing eaves and paint is one of the harder parts of a complex roof, it's easy to get the roof right and the details wrong, so I'm glad we nailed both. Hearing "beyond our expectations" from a customer with a tricky roof means a lot, and I'm proud of how the crew handled it start to finish. Thank you for the strong recommendation!
