  Step flashing was not stepped. It was all nailed together. Skylight leaking. 4 days later contractor returns to blame the skylight… Oh Jesus give me strength with these winners. EDIT- This review is real, not all customers are willing to use their name. You sent the guy back to repair, and the guy showed up with his caulking gun. You got caught again and sent your Forman out to repair it properly. You are controlling the reviews and are not being fully honest.

  We did not use J&M but our neighbors did. They left an absolute mess beside our house, and did not return to clean things up when approached about it. Very unprofessional.

  Hello, we’ve reviewed our records and don’t have anything indicating a project that took three weeks to complete, nor are we able to match this name to any of our clients. We also want to clarify that we do not work with subcontractors who then subcontract work out further — all of our crews have been with us for many years and we work with them directly. Based on this, the situation described does not sound like one of our projects. That said, we take all concerns seriously and would love the opportunity to discuss this directly.   Was told they would be by for a small roofing repair by Friday. That was over 6 weeks ago. This is after multiple communications throughout this time, was also looking for a quote on a shop roof but after this level of service will be looking elsewhere for someone who will actually show up.

  I was in desperate need of some shingle repair after a big wind storm. I called J&M Roofing Services and they sent out an employee within a week to repair the work that needed to be done. They communicated well and took my small job seriously. I highly recommend J&M Roofing to anyone who needs any roofing work.

  I believe the roofer’s name was Abbi, although I may be mistaken. He ultimately identified the real source of a leak that three plumbers had failed to find. Whenever it rained, water would drip from a pipe in our basement. We contacted three different plumbers, and all three told us there was nothing wrong with the plumbing and that the problem must be coming from the roof. Based on their assessments, the roofing company sealed the roof-vent opening to prevent rainwater from entering. Unfortunately, the leak continued. This meant that a roofing repair had been completed that, in hindsight, appears not to have addressed the actual problem. The situation caused us considerable stress, worry, and unnecessary expense. When the roofing company returned (Abbi) took the time to investigate the piping more carefully. Using a flashlight, he inspected beneath the sink and discovered a broken pipe connected to the roof-vent system. This was the core problem and, in my opinion, should have been identified during one of the three earlier plumbing inspections. I am not a plumber or roofer, so I may not be using the exact technical terminology. However, I greatly appreciated Abbi’s persistence, attention to detail, and willingness to keep investigating after the initial repair did not solve the leak. He found the actual problem that others had missed and finally gave us a clear explanation for what had been happening.
