  Fixed my Aunts roof and did a below average job. Now, she is fixing it again and also needing new drywall on her interior due to leakage.

  If high pressure sales aren't for you, don't call. They really push the 1 visit, and if you want to consider other offers be prepared to pay significantly more. I was told there would be a SOFT credit inquiry. I should have known that was a lie when they let me know there was a freeze on my credit that would need to be lifted. This resulted in several inquiries with different companies. I then got a credit card in the mail I didn't ask for. My mom told them she was making the down but waiting on inheritance check. They said this was not an issue and asked when it might be here. They used a date 2 weeks earlier than we estimated. We did sign only because of the 12 yr guarantee, and was advised when they were looking at coming out based on that 2 week early date they used. I got 2 texts outside of office hours, one right after they closed saying we'll be there tomorrow, a week early. The 2nd the next morning before they were open. I called to intervene and letting them known that the remaining down payment hadn't been paid yet. Response was, "I asked my boss he said that is between you and the office and we are good to go." There was a delay with the check being received by my mom, now paid. You talk to one person and another calls, sometimes same day or even minutes apart, so they don't communicate with each other. One says we're fine while 2 more keep calling. This is why I was concerned about them starting early without the down complete. My concern was disregarded. Roofing team was great. They worked well, was very communicative, cleaned up great every evening, and things went smoothly. Roof looks GREAT. They advised a 2nd team would come a day or 2 behind them to do the aluminum. That team would move soffits around and make it look cohesive since we weren't doing full replacement and they no longer produced 8in pieces. Nobody told us this during the initial consultation. I was not advised I would be mismatched. 2nd team just randomly shows up no notice no commu

  Never again. I’ve reported my experience to the BBB. Lied to about a broken roof truss and lord knows what else. Just no!!

  May 2026 edit: Well - our great job turned out not to be so great! Gutters falling off back of house because they were put on rotted fascia boards which would have been clearly visible when they had the decking tore off. Stopped in to tell them & ask about repairs. Nobody would return calls so here we are….. see attached pic- never again! Great job! These guys showed up when they said they would & got our entire roof & gutters done in less than 2 days. The workers were very respectful & cleaned up the yard & drive when done. The supervisors kept us informed during the job & kept things on track. We are very pleased with the way our new roof & gutters look & can’t wait to get the black shutters & some paintwork done to complete the look.

  I will give two stars because they didn’t fix what Tom said he would fix Tom is the point man now me and my son will have to try and fix it ourselves

  The job was not completed as promised. Had to call multiple times to get them back out to complete the job. Had to hold money for them to complete the job. Also was told that they would come out and complete the job once they had the money. Finally after arguing and sending proof the job was not completed they sent people out to do the job correctly to get their money.

  If you use them you are without a doubt paying the most for a new roof. They also just sub contract the work out, so it’s not like the have a team they can hold accountable. The guys just show up and knock it out as quick as possible. They told us they replaced the sheeting, but I guess they didn’t know when you walk in the garage and look up you can see the rotting sheeting.

  I can’t imagine having a better experience with a roofing company. Everything about the process was professional and definitely worth every penny. Tom met my wife and I to discuss options and price the project, even staying late to make sure we were comfortable with every decision, from shingle color to financing. Evan and his team were at our house two days later, they were polite and considerate of our grass/landscaping when staging their materials and dumpster. These guys were awesome! Quick, efficient, and they cleaned their work area better than they found it. Evan was sure to reach out and keep us informed of the progress throughout the project. After two days my wife and I have a new roof and gutters that we love! Thank you Honest Abe for your transparency and professionalism, we could not have been happier with the experience!

  All the guys that put the roof on were amazing. The salesman that came out to give the estimate was very informative and pleasant to work with. Evan the job coordinator both days was informative and giving updates. I could not of asked for a better experience.

  Mike and Evan and the great crew were at our house today and removed the old porch roof and added a better much improved roof that will allow rain to flow off the house roof.

  Mike helped me design the roof and made sure to not rush me and made me feel comfortable through the process. Evan his team came out and installed the roof in 2 days. They cleaned up well and made sure my property was left better than when they started! Thank you Honest Abe Roofing.

  Mike and Evan were both top notch. Mike knew exactly what needed to be done and Evan was promptly here to take care of the issue. He explained everything to me and showed pictures of what was going up on the roof.
