My grandmother chose this company based on its reviews and clearly that was a mistake. 3 years ago, Honest Abe was hired to replace my grandmother's roof. The salesman what nice and seemed helpful. After weeks of asking, he never sent over a contract or returned a phone call. The crew that installed the room was angry because the porch was not added to the installation quote they recieved and they stated they were never paid for this portion of labor but they installed it anyway. In July of 2025, we noticed a soft spot above the dining room window and attempted to contact Honest Abe just to be told that they are a franchise and the individuals we went through are no longer in business, therefore, there was nothing they could do. $17,000 and a 10 year warranty that cannot be honored? My grandmother is nearly 80, on a fixed income and up until August of last year, she was also tending to my grandfather as he faded away due to a stroke and dementia. This company has done nothing to try and help or even direct her I to the right direction. Zero stars. Shame on "Honest" Abe.

I will not be recommending Honest Abe roofing. When you are spending a lot of money for a new roof and soffit repair communication goes along way. It was very frustrating not knowing when someone would show up at your house or what time. The roof looks great the experience was not.

I want to first provide a hat tip to Tom, the Roofing Specialist that began our journey with Honest Abe. While we were in the market for a steel roof, due to the longevity of the roofing materials, he took the time to explain alternative …
