  Well, I can say that Brandon was pleasant to deal with at the initial start of our project. It has however been a frustrating experience. One without communication and one where it's always one excuse after another on why they can not show up to work. To begin with we have always been upfront and have paid every time they have asked for anything. Somehow the work for us was always postponed. One week it's weather, the next week, someone quit, the next time, someone forgot to schedule us. It was always another excuse. After paying a hefty sum for our roof, the color was no where close to what we had asked for. Of course, the blame was put on the manufacturer of the shingles, and Brandon himself has called me and my wife that this would be taken care of and corrected. Well, the last we heard from them was from a "Dawson" who was scheduling us for the end of January or the first of February to remedy this issue. It is now the second half of April and there has been no communication whatsoever. So needless to say, I'm pretty sure we're stuck with the roof that doesn't match any other part of the house. The gutter team was great, they had our new gutters up and they have been the only redeeming thing in this whole experience. We also had them install windows, this in itself was another process that took a long time and was once again, blamed on the "manufacturer". We told Brandon about how our previous windows leaked and were told that the new windows, gutter, and roof would help with it. Well the windows still leak. At this point, we DO NOT recommend Home Remedy USA. This place was recommended to us by family, and we have learned our lesson on this. They will never receive our business again, and we will never recommend them to anyone.

  My blood boils when I think about the experience we had with this company. For starters, they did not show up the day they told us they would start (7 months after we gave them $21000 deposit). Three days later they tore off the roof (tearing up our new driveway on the way out after we told them about the sharp curve and please go out the other exit) and told us the new roof would be completed the following Wednesday. We were scheduled to go out of town and thought better of it when work on the roof was not going as we were told. A smart move because with some big storms we ended up with water in the house and were here to prevent damage. Brandon went on vacation that week after stating he would go nowhere til our roof was completed. The next week we were informed that there was a shortage of roof material - not enough was ordered. Brandon assured us daily the material would be delivered with in the next few days. Two weeks, and several rain storms, later, the materials were delivered. If we had know it was going to be so long we would have insisted on a tarp to protect our roof. Fortunately the roofing crew cared and did an amazing job, but it took them two more weeks to finish. 39 days start to finish.... Throughout the entire ordeal Brandon either ignored our calls, emails and texts, or just plain lied to us. We were not informed as to what was going on and left frustrated and afraid of rain on a daily basis. He minimally compensated us for the driveway damage and frustration we dealt with. If things go well I am sure he is wonderful to work with - just hope no kinks arise because you will be sorry you used this company. After waiting a while for him to send the warranty he finally emailed us something that did not make sense to us. Our email we sent six days ago requesting more information is still unanswered. 10/17 In response to Brandon: You could not even spell my name correctly.   Good Evening Tracie, I want to first say how sorry I am this job did not go as we had planned for it to, I totally understand how frustrated you were, I was equally if not more so frustrated. First of all we waited for almost 5 mo. for the specialty color of metal you ordered to come in, after this we had and unprecedented amount of rain in the High Country from April to July, which caused further delay. After the Metal finally arrived and we began installation we were severely shorted on our metal order by the manufacturer. They completely left out almost 40% of the material we needed to do this roof. We installed what we could, as we were promised by this supplier day after day for weeks that the metal was on the way but still did not arrive. this only compounded the anxiety and frustration you and I were both experiencing. During this time rain did come in, problems occurred and we handled them the best we could. You were super nice to our installers as they also waited and waited for the material needed to arrive. Needless to say we have severed all ties with this supplier and have since found a new source for all our metal roofing needs. The scrape in the blacktop drive way was accidental, and we compensated you $1,000.00 for the repair. We compensated you a total of $3,281.00 off of the bill for the driveway and the aggravation you went through. everything that took place was a result of things our company couldn't control, weather, material supplier. At the end of the day you do have a beautiful standing seam metal roof with a full 40 yr warranty, which you stated yourself you were very please with how the roof looked and turned out. I do greatly wish we did not have these set backs, that caused everyone so much aggravation, this is not the normal experience our clients have which our other 108 or so 5 STAR reviews will atest to. We thank you for sharing your feelings with us , and will be more than happy to help you if you ever need anything in the future.

  In my experience they were not a roofing company just a subcontractor. It's been 6 months since roof was installed, it looks good and functions great. The problem I have with the company was during the removal of the shingles. There was 2 things they did I did not agree with at all. First the removal of structural metal in the valley's of the roof. Second was replaceing boards that were damaged. I was told they would only remove the small section that was damaged instead they ripped out the entire board and charged me for it. To the tune of an extra $1400. When I asked the representative from home remedy why they were doing that his response was I don't know why. Based on my dealings with them I would not recommend them.

So I want to address your comments. First we are a legitimate roofing company, we are not a sub contractor. We are a GAF Master Elite Roof Contractor. As far as your roof repairs we always give you the price per ft up front when replacing damaged wood. We take photographs for warranty reasons as to why we are replacing it. We replaced approximately 244' of damaged 1x6 and we discounted the price lower than contract price because there was so much damaged wood, to try to help. Second we remove the metal valleys. to install a closed or webbed valley. This process insures a better long term seal, which helps to back the 50 Yr roof and the 25 yr Workmanship guarantee you received. I apologize if our employee did not do a better job explaining this to you. We value you as a customer. Please feel free to call me personally anytime with questions , problems ect.

  Was suppose to come give me a estimate on my porches and first time was supposed to have come called said something come up couldn't come said they come next day didn't even bother calling just didn't show up

  We had a great experience working with Home Remedy USA for our roof, gutters, and siding installation. From start to finish, both the company manager (Brandon) and the sales representative (Brian) were very professional, communicative, and helpful in guiding us through the process. The installation crew arrived on time and worked diligently every scheduled day. The entire project was handled seamlessly, and the quality of work on our roof, siding, and gutters looks great.   Had Brian come out to give me an estimate. He was on time and very professional. I got quotes for 3 roofing types and decided with the traditional metal roof. They also removed two unused roof vents and installed a new microwave and bathroom exhaust vents. Now the roof came out looking fantastic! Done in one day. There were some issues that arose. As I brought them up to Brian he was out to address the situation that afternoon. Promised me the issues would be remedied. Within two weeks, the issues were all taken care of. I understand mistakes happen. I am just so happy I did not get the runaround. Home Remedy ISA is a very professional company who stands behind their work. I would and will recommend them to anyone I know needing a new roof. Thank you again Brian and everyone at Home Remedy USA for your work!!

  The crew (Cole, Ronnie, Nelson) did an outstanding job today on a repair/removal of skylights that had been leaking. Brandon previously correctly identified the problem and scheduled the repair quickly given the weather conditions in Banner Elk. Price was very reasonable and work was completed quickly.   The ice we had caused my front gutter to fall and I thought "what am I going to do!!" I picked Home Remedy and I couldn't be more pleased! Brian was so helpful and went over everything with me and got it done in a timely manner! It was sure nice to come home and not see a dangling gutter!
