Called for a quote on a roof job. Took our info and said would come out to look at roof and would call me on Monday since it was the weekend. Didn't hear anything back for a week. Wife called after finding info on our stating that Hickey had installed the roof 9 years ago. Website states 12 year warranty of whole roof was done. It was. Wife called Hickey this time. Argued with her on the phone about the roof that we supposedly added a vent where there wasn't one nine years ago. No work has been done to the house. We purchased it 3 years ago. She asked if he had any proof that there was only 2 vents and he stated he remembers clearly and didn't need proof. Wish I had that memory is all I can say. Especially after doing as many roofs as he has. After Wife stated she has all the paperwork for the house and roof. And that the roof hasn't been touched since he worked on it. Then finally stated that well the roof warranty wasn't transferable. All of this and before I received a letter in the mail with a quote to reroof half our house due to water damage and the roof rotting 9 years after he redid the whole roof. Hickey clearly didn't remember the house. Had a quote done by ARC, they stated half the house need to be redone and stated that it looked like the roof ridge cap maybe what was leaking along with all the vents. Hickey's doesn't stand behind their workmanship. Pretty sad that 9 years later half the roof needs to be redone and wood needs to be replaced. Clearly it had to have been leaking for a while. Something you should take into consideration before having them redo your roof.

Brian called me and asked for a quote to re-roof a small section of the house because ARC stated that it had to be replaced. I went out there and saw there was some soft decking in two areas that needed repairs. I went back and reviewed our installation because there were some new penetration in the roof and they were installed improperly. I did take pictures to show how we flashed our penetrations on that roof and how the new ones were. I told them they didn't need a new roof just minor repairs. ARC is a sales based company so the salesman makes commission on what he sold them. I understand their reluctance to believe me, but I wish they would have gotten a professional opinion from a local reputable company. We are a fine-tuned roofing company that installs the best roofing around. We have been voted the best roofing contractor in our area for the last 14 years and have been in business for over 30 years. We are a small roofing company that offers the best customer service, solutions and products available!

I hired Hickey Roofing to fix a leak in my roof. They quoted, then did some work. Didn't fix the leak. They then quoted more, did some more work. STILL didn't fix the leak. The best part is they charged me for both jobs! Dan threatened to take me to court if I didn't pay, said he doesn't do any work for free. It's clear there is NO guarantee with their work. I've never been treated so badly by a contractor.

We came out to see a very poorly installed roof. The roofer he had do his last roof didn't even tear out the shingles at the end of the valleys, just butter the new ones to the old. It's exactly where it was leaking so we said we would have to change that before anything and it's a very good chance it was the leak. It later leaked again up the valle farthur, so there was multiple leaks. We replaced the valley upon his request. We told him our prices prior to starting any of it. He tried several times to get the price lowered. Once the bill was sent out he threatened to "slam us on all social media if we made him pay" this was $1,450 in repairs. I calmly asked if he was going to pay it or not several times. He then brought up if I would take him to court if he didn't pay, and of course I said I would it's our only recourse. We came to an agreement I would take several hundred off and he would pay and drop it. We did the work we we said we would and that's all we can do. Sadly he gave a poor review because I stood my ground against him. There are no guarantees when we are fixing other contractors work, unless you tear it all off there's always a chance you miss something done improperly. We provide the highest quality of work around and have been voted the best roofing company 12 years running. We have a very good track record and will continue to provide the best service, material and workmanship!

Josh you worked with us. I know you left with Dylan but we always understood each other. I'm not sure why you would give us a bad review.

Hickey Roofing was professional and easy to work with. We initially thought we wanted a different kind of roof when we contacted them. Marcus called me and was honest and upfront about the roof we thought we wanted. We really appreciated that.

Hickey Roofing recently did a tear off and installed a new architectural shingle roof (4500 sg ft of roof). The previous shingles were 23 years old-so it was time. The crew was extremely efficient and completed the job in two days from start to finish, despite very windy conditions. I was impressed with the job and the cleanup was fantastic. I am an EXTREMELY picky homeowner so I had Dan send out a guy to make some final tweaks. It never took longer than a day for Dan to get back to me. This is what I feel sets Hickey Roofing apart from other roofers. I highly recommend Hickey Roofing!

Hickey Roofing was a wonderful company to work with. Dan and his team took the time to design and implement high-quality solutions for several complicated projects for my home. Throughout the entire process, everyone at Hickey was very transparent, thorough, and fair (three traits that are increasingly rare in contractors these days!). 10/10 would recommend!

I am posting on behalf of Yorkshire Condominiums Oshkosh. Hickey was professional and helpful. The job was done in a very timely manner and they were clean and careful with landscaping and yard ornaments. They addressed concerns and were commutative for the entire process. I would recommend and will be using them for future projects.

Hickey Roofers did a great job. A bunch of hard working roofers did my garage roof and totally cleaned up in about 3 hours.
