Needs to have their license to drive taken away. In the span of 4 minutes, they nearly caused 3 accidents on I12 by driving recklessly. Cutting drivers off with no signals, tailgating, speeding, and on his phone the whole time. I wouldn’t trust someone who doesn’t know how to drive a company vehicle with my roof.

Worst customer service ever. Though the lady that answered the phone was nice, I had to call 2 times, still not getting a call back from a man by the name of Jason. I am still waiting on this call just to get an estimate on my roof being replaced or fixed. If this is how they work, I don't want to do business with them. I had heard that they did great work, I decided to call them first. Maybe they felt my job wasn't large enough to worry about? Whatever the reason it has been 2 weeks, no phone call from, the nice lady that answers the phone, or the man Jason she said, was to be calling me. She also said, it wasn't like him not to call someone back to set up an appointment for an estimate. I will be calling someone else ASAP. Thank you, Hester Roofing in Hammond LA.

Was never able to get anyone to come look at repair. 1st time I called voice mailbox was full. Reached out through Facebook, with no response. 2nd time I called, I was able to leave a message and had call returned. Was told they would schedule an appointment for someone to come out. No one ever called back and no one ever came to look at the job. Would not use!

David said he would be out to evaluate roof damage done by the storm where the electrical pipe goes through roof.....was a "no show". Never called either. All my calls kept going to a recording that day. Guess my repairs were not big …

Where do I even begin? Originally, I was quoted a price from a different roofing company, I wrote out the check, and was ready to start the process with them. However, on the day I scheduled to deliver the check to them, the price I was quoted had suddenly changed. This made me uneasy, so I cancelled with that company and was referred to Hester Roofing. I was apprehensive about trusting another company, but little did I know that the process of choosing Hester Roofing would be incredibly stress-free and worry-free. From the first phone call with Gabe, I felt that I had made the right choice. I then met with Gunner who took the time to explain the process and made everything so easy to understand. From the moment I made the initial call to the completion of my roof, they treated me like family. Their knowledge, respect, and the way they made me feel were exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again in the far future. 😁 On a side note, I’ve rekindled my love for my home simply because of the beauty of its roof. Again, thank you to the Hester Family!

If you're considering Hester Roofing, look no further. You will not find another roofing company with the integrity, skill, communication, and fair pricing that Hester offers. This family-run operation was seamless from start to finish (no pun intended!). Hester Roofing replaced the shingles our rental property, and the house gained curb appeal overnight! Every step of the way, from the original inspection to installation day, was well communicated by Gabe Hester. There were no surprises with the pricing or the scope of work. The roofing crew took careful steps to protect the house and yard. In addition, they scanned the yard TWICE with a magnet to make sure the roofing nails were gone. Fantastic job, guys, and a big shout-out to Gunner Slaven and Gabe Hester. Your professionalism is appreciated.

Submitting this on behalf of my mother-in-law who had roof replacement at her home in Slidell: “I recently I had a leak in my roof that came through into my kitchen after a particularly bad rain storm so I needed someone to come and look at the damage. My son and daughter-in-law recommended hester roofing for the excellent work they did on their roof after Hurricane Ida. I called them and they were able to come out promptly the next morning and put a tarp over the damaged part of my roof, and do a full evaluation of the entire roof. As a widow and not having experience with major home repairs on my own I explained my situation and they worked with my insurance company to communicate recommended repairs to my roof, attic and kitchen and explained everything to me in great detail and helped me tremendously. They were able to complete all the work I needed in a prompt and efficient manner. Everyone with the company was so friendly and helpful and gave me a great deal of peace of mind knowing my roof was repaired and replaced professionally. I want to especially give a huge shout out to Sal Ruffino who was in charge of the project. He was in contact with me on a regular basis and went above and beyond anything I expected, I can’t say enough good things about him-his professionalism, kindness, patience, respect, and excellent communication skills. I highly recommend Hester to anyone that needs a new roof or an estimate on a new roof. Thank you.”

Hester roofing is great. I had a guy form a company out of town knock on my door offering free inspections so i let him. He told me i had a tone of hail damage and needed to file an insurance claim. I called Hester for a second opinion. Mr. David came out did a very detailed inspection. He found that my roof didnt have hail damage and was in good shape. He said that there were a couple spots that could use some caulk , just normal upkeep. The really impressive thing was that he called me the next day, stated he was in the area and wanted to swing by and caulk up the couple spots he told me about for no charge. He really took the time to answer all my questions and relieve my worries.

I was very pleased with Hester Roofing. I've had no problems with the roof at all. Their agent was professional, non-pressuring, and patient with all my questions. I had consulted other roofers, but all of them pressured me to sign on the spot and also gave unreasonable estimates. I wouldn't hesitate to use Hester Roofing again or to recommend them to others.
