  It’s hard to say enough good things about Edward and the roofing service we received in the City of Orange. We had been trying to find a roofer for a major roof leak, and after reaching out to several larger roofing companies, we either got no response, a weak inspection, or were pushed toward a full roof replacement instead of the repair we actually needed. From the very beginning, Edward was responsive, professional, and easy to work with. He answered every text quickly, arrived exactly when he said he would, and gave a clear, detailed roof assessment. Unlike the other roofers, he took the time to get up on the roof, inspect everything carefully, and identify clear signs of wind damage that supported an insurance claim. He also met with the adjuster to point out the roofing damage, offered helpful advice on shingle color and overall curb appeal, and explained the insurance process in simple terms so we understood what to expect. He even took time to help us understand parts of the claim related to interior water damage, which went above and beyond. The roofing work was completed quickly, neatly, and with great workmanship. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free, and Edward was friendly and pleasant throughout the entire project. This was easily one of the best home repair experiences we’ve had, and we only wish every roofing project went this well.

  Hernandez & Sons Roofing did an excellent job at my property in the City of Orange. I needed a major chimney repair, some added roof vents for better attic airflow, and finishing work around the exterior. Edward and the crew were professional, polite, and careful throughout the whole roofing project. They took the time to clean up well and put everything back the way they found it, which I really appreciated. They also came back to complete the chimney painting and a side panel near my garage door, and the final results looked great.   What can I say about Hernandez & Sons Roofing? Excellent service from start to finish. They gave us a very fair price that was hard to beat, and Ruben was the person to ask for. He was patient with all my questions and clearly explained the roofing work, materials, and warranty coverage so I felt comfortable with the whole job. He went above and beyond and made sure every detail looked right before the project was finished. We also received free gutter guards through a promotion, which added even more value. We hired Edward for the roof installation, and he was very knowledgeable about energy-efficient roofing materials and reflective shingles that help during the hot summer months in NJ. Since the roof was completed, we have had no issues at all, and it still looks just as attractive and well-finished as when the job was first done. Because we were so happy with the workmanship, communication, and overall roofing service, we later hired Edward again to roof our rental house. He also installed gutters for us, and the gutter work came out excellent.
