  After strong storm winds tore off some shingles, we took it as the right time to fix the roof and update a few other parts of the home. We spoke with several roofing inspectors and contractors, but Clark Brothers Roofing & Construction stood out right away with fair pricing, quality roofing materials, and a clear plan for the work. They also pointed out that the gutters were old and that the roof decking needed attention, so we decided to redo the full upper exterior of the house. The whole process felt much easier because Chase was extremely patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the insurance claim. He explained the roofing damage, coverage details, and policy language in a simple way that made everything easy to understand. After only a few days of communication with the insurance company, the coverage improved far beyond the original estimate and ended up covering most of the project cost. That made a big difference for us and took a lot of stress off our shoulders. The before-and-after results were amazing. The new roof, updated gutters, and repaired decking completely changed the look and condition of the home. For a 1,300-square-foot house in East Orange, the crew finished the roofing job in just two days, which was much faster than other contractors had estimated. The team was efficient, skilled, and well organized from start to finish. Overall, this was a great experience. They were dependable, honest, easy to work with, and saved us both time and money.   I’m really happy with Clark Brothers Roofing & Construction. The crew they sent to remove my leaking skylight and install a new one was friendly, professional, and did excellent roofing work. They were also one of the few roofers able to fit my project in before a big weekend rainstorm, which helped prevent more water from getting inside. Customer service was easy to deal with, and Mason even shared a few helpful tips for keeping the room below the skylight protected and tidy during the work. Everything stayed in line with the estimate, the pricing was very fair, and the whole repair process felt smooth and well organized. I highly recommend them for skylight replacement and roofing service.

The pricing was fair and in line with other roofing quotes i received, and still better than many of them. What really helped me decide was the strong shingle warranty and the clear explanation of the roofing system. chase was great about keeping me updated and communicating anything that came up during the job. The whole process felt organized and professional. The roofing crew showed up on time, worked hard, and the installation moved along smoothly. mason made sure the work area stayed safe, and douglas helped answer my questions in simple terms. After the new roof was finished, the cleanup was excellent. they went over the yard and driveway carefully, and i barely found any nails or debris left behind.   Mason came to our home in East Orange and met with the insurance inspector and adjuster to help with our weather damaged roof claim. He reviewed the estimate, scheduled the materials, and had a skilled roofing crew tear off the old roof, frame a proper saddle behind the chimney, and install the new composition shingle roofing system in only two days. The new gutters were put on the next day, and the remaining exterior repairs, including a couple of custom window screens, were finished by the end of the week. The whole process was smooth and well organized from start to finish. Mason communicated clearly, kept the job moving, and made sure everything was handled the right way. After the roofing and gutter work was completed, the final paperwork was sent over promptly so the insurance claim could be wrapped up without any stress.   I can’t say enough good things about this roofing team. My husband compared several roofers before we moved forward, and we are really glad we chose this family-run company in East Orange.   I did my homework and compared six other roofing companies before choosing CLARK BROTHERS ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION. They were the first to respond in person, and within two days they were up on my roof providing a solid, high-quality estimate. Since Velux is the main skylight manufacturer, I noticed many other quotes were charging much more for labor even though the skylight windows were the same. Gregory’s crew arrived on time, were friendly and respectful, and made it clear that the experienced roofers doing the estimate would also be the ones handling the roof work. I also appreciated meeting with Gregory in person, because it gave me confidence I was working with someone honest and professional. In the end, I am extremely happy with the skylight and roofing service, the workmanship, the fair pricing for a smaller roof job, and the strong warranty. It is refreshing to find a roofing contractor that delivers quality work, clear communication, and real value without overcharging.
