  I’ve called, my sister ( we own property together) has called, left messages, no one gets back with me. Not a good way to run a business

  AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Very Unprofessional and here's why: We needed a new roof on our cottage. Hardt Roofing came out and looked it over and quoted us a very good price because they had left over shingles they wanted to move from a previous job. Then we got hit by a hail storm which damaged our house and further damaged out cottage as well. Hard Roofing came out and looked at our house roof and pointed out all the hail damage not only to the roof but to the gutters and windows. They told us when the insurance adjuster does the inspection "They will be right there with the insurance adjuster to make sure all the damage is recorded properly". We got the call from the insurance adjuster for the appointment to look at the damage and get the estimate. We called Hardt Roofing and he said, again, that he would be there with the insurance adjuster. (RED FLAG #1) The morning of the appointment Hardt Roofing calls and says "I don't want no part of it, the other roofers and insurance adjusters in that area where the storm hit are all fighting with each other and I don't want no part of it!" "Once you get the settlement we'll take it from there." A few days later Hardt Roofing phoned and informed us they were ready to begin work on our cottage and could do the job the next day. (RED FLAG #2) At 9:47AM Hardt Roofing calls informing us that the shingles he we had agreed upon had been stolen and he would need to charge us for more expensive shingles. We declined. Half an hour later he shows up with alternative shingles for the original quoted price and we agreed to use them. They pull their truck around back where our cottage is located and begin to put up ladders and plug in electric cords and get the job started. (RED FLAG #3) 4 MINUTES LATER the electric cords, ladders, truck and Hardt Roffing vanished without a word. Literally GONE. We called his cell phone in an attempt to figure out what was happening but they would not pick up. 10 minutes later they call bac

  I MADE THE CHOICE TO NOT WORK ON THIS PROJECT. I whole heartily felt another contractor would be better suited for them. I never began any work or took any money from them. I apologize to them for there inconvenience in having to find another contractor. To the Myers family I sincerely apologize, David Reinhardt

  I contacted Hardt to make some repairs on the slate roof of my old bank barn. They did a fantastic job and the price was very reasonable. Moreover they were very friendly and polite and couldn’t have been any better to work with. I highly recommend Dave, Mellisa, and Cosmo for all your roofing needs.

  Wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable about my old slate roof. Promt to answer my calls or texts. It was nice to be able to get a repair without the push for extra work, but also made me feel better about my current roofs life expectancy. Very kind people to work with.

  We had an emergent roof repair after storm damage, and David didn't hesitate our call for help on short notice. The repair was completed very quickly and professionally. We are always pleased with his skilled trade.

  Hardt Roofing was great to work with. Our 120-year-old home had some loose slates, a ridge cap, and chimney cap and flashing that needed attention. They also secured a couple of gutters that were coming loose. David and Melissa were professional, courteous, provided a clear quote, and responded quickly to a few questions I had before getting started. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

  I called other companies and they didn’t have time to look at the job. I called Dave at Hardy roofing and they was going to come out the same day. I couldn’t do it that day so we scheduled it another day, he showed up on time was very professional took care of the problem.

  From the start Mellisa was responsive and communicated very well. David spent almost an hour on my roof taking pictures and provided a very thorough review and estimate. We have an older (100+ years old) tile roof and they were able to find matching tiles. It is clear that David cares to do quality work and it shows!

  I live in rural area of WV. I had a roof leak since July 2022. I searched all over WV for a contractor. My roof is tin with interlocking pieces and was unable to find a company. March 2023 I called Hardt Roofing, I spoke with Melissa, she took my information and said someone would call next day. David called and came out next day and gave an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and gave a very detailed estimate for my insurance. He also took several pictures and took time to explain how it would be fixed. 5 days later my roof is fixed and I'm 100% satisfied. Thank you Hardt roofing, you are the best!! I highly recommend their work!!!

  David did a very professional and prompt repair on a tough valley and ridge repair on a 111 year old clay tile roof. His attention to detail in letting you know the problem and the best fix for your style of roof sets him apart from all the rest!! Extremely satisfied customer and would highly recomend to anyone looking for prompt, quality work!

  Hardt roofing is an excellent contractor, David is extremely qualified, very thorough and dependable. He repaired a 105 yr old spanish tile roof. I would recommend Hardt Roofing for all your tile and slate roofing needs.

  David did an amazing job in our house.He did a bay window ,roof returns ,chimney hood and flashing through out our house .He is very knowledgeable and crafty.He pays attention to detail and he is in command of his trait .His workmanship is hard to find anymore .He even did more work that originally was asked to do .It was a pleasure to work with David and Mellisa .It is pleasure to go outside and look at all the cupper work around the house .Well done David ,and Mellisa for taking care of the logistics .

  Provides excellent work. I received a estimate right after I called and the work that needed done was explained in detail. They showed up fixed the leak that three roofers failed to find and cleaned up after they were done. Would highly recommend...
