July 5 approximately 8:15pm. The person in the passenger seat decided to throw their mcflurry out the window on the highway 401 westbound by Milton. We were behind them. The ice cream splattered all over our car. We had a 4 year old, 2 year old and a 3 month baby in the car. You can see the splatter of ice cream on our windshield in the photo. Company should be charged and will be reported.

Scam! I called those people as they did my flat roof some 8 years ago ( for the previous owner). They came to inspect a leak, and in only 10 minutes they figured that I have a plumbing problem and I need to call a plumber. I received a bill for $650 !!! After I complained, they reduced the bill to $500 for the 10 minutes observation they did, saying that this is their minimum charge. Terrible experience!

The roof is only 14 years old with 30 year shingles. They missed way to many nails in the shingles. They have been sliding off over the last few years. This heat we just had has made it worse. …

Grace, We at Grand Valley Roofing are sorry to hear about your failing 30 year shingles. For you and other people who are experiencing warranty issues, I would like to review warranty information. With any issue, the first thing that you should do is to find your original invoice and any other paperwork that was given to you when the roof was completed. There should be two components to the offered warranty. One part is for the installation of the shingles held by the installers (Grand Valley Roofing) and the second part is for the actual shingles that comes from the shingle manufacturer. Grand Valley Roofing, as the installer offered a 10 year warranty on the installation of the shingles. Unfortunately this warranty has passed. This guaranteed that the shingles were installed according to the shingle manufacturer's instructions. The second part of the warranty is for the shingles themselves and is covered by the actual shingle manufacturer whose information you were given upon completion of the roof. If the shingles did not hold up as expected, then you must contact the shingle manufacturer and have them access your roof. This is the regular course of action and does not involve Grand Valley Roofing.

Dirty, slow, LOUD, unprofessional, and filled with curse words. There are children that go to school across the street, this company has unacceptable standards. They also failed to strap down their wood on one roof, and the wind picked up …

We hired this company for a complete roof replacement. We had some difficulties with communication from the company, and the uncooperative weather delayed the installation for a while, which caused even more issues. After finally nailing down an installation date, our roof was installed. It looks great, and seems to be holding up well after all the storms we have had this year! The installers did do a bit of damage to our plants, and could have cleaned up better. Update: Our roof was damaged in the storm, and we asked the company for assistance, assuming it was under warranty. They responded they would take a look, and then promptly sent me a bill for the work. No quote, no communication, nothing. So, no warranty either?! Unimpressed.

Did an 80,000 sq ft warehouse expansion, tying 3 roofs together with GVR, and the whole crew did a great job. Professional, responsive to communication, and easy to work with - they came every day and got the job done. …

Where this page comes from

Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 14 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 14, of which 8 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.

Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.

There is not much data on Grand Valley Roofing & Coatings Inc. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
