I hired Glenview Roofing to replace my flat roof. During tear-off, they damaged some of the existing plywood and then told me my entire roof was rotten. I was frightened into signing a contract for approximately 36,000 dollars because I believed I had no other choice. After speaking with other experienced roofers, I became concerned about both the price and the work being done, so I hired an independent roofing inspector. The inspector confirmed that Glenview was installing quarter-inch plywood on a flat roof, which he advised is not up to code. He also pointed out that the old insulation, which should have been removed, had been left in place. Based on his recommendation, I immediately stopped the work. When I confronted the owner about the plywood not meeting code, he told me they use quarter-inch plywood on all their roofs and that they had, “never had a problem.” That response was extremely concerning. In the end, I had already paid $11,000. Because I had signed the $36,000 contract and felt overwhelmed by the situation, I allowed them to keep that money, which I now regret. I then hired another roofing company that completed the job properly- to standards - for significantly less. This experience was incredibly stressful and costly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Glenview Roofing. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to get an independent inspection and multiple quotes before signing anything.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 4 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 4, of which 4 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Glenview Roofing & Construction. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
