Unethical business practices! Kontos charged us an extra $2,300 for wood (on top of the $9700 roof estimate). The salesman came, inspected the house, gave us an estimate and never mentioned that the wood was not included.

  Reply from the business

On page 2 on our contracts states in black in white that alll wood is additional you have signed it as well . Sorry to hear that but we do have to replace any Decay Lumber per code we cannot leave any there. Thank you

is a name you can't trust lie on lie he done some mistake . the flashing to the wall was not noticeable ride away but it damage outside as well inside the other thing when they was doing the roof they drop the load too fast the pressure effect on the ceiling effect on dry wall i told many time he kept ignoring i held $375.00 to fix it but he never did and he never admit it.

  Reply from the business

We are very sorry but the additional 375.00 was for the carpentry work that you signed and agreed upon in our contract. You did refuse to pay this and treating our office staff with profanity. We will not tolerate that type of disrespect to our employees. Due to the drywall being in the exterior on the porch ceiling. The seam we're already coming apart from the moisture in this Florida climate. We did fix them at no charge.

Bad service . We contacted them two times for an estimate they never reply back . We called asking for manager she replied they are busy now!!! It is time waste !

Absolutely terrible service. Took 4 months to put the roof on my house after tearing out the old one and drying it in. Left me in this condition during hurricane season and I was unable to get insurance because I had no roof. There was never communication initiated on their part. If I contacted them, SOMETIMES they would respond. Blamed the delay on tile order being backed up 4 to 6 weeks. This still does not explain the four month completion time. TONS of roofers out there. Stay far away from this incompetent bunch! They don't even deserve one star.

THEY WILL THREATEN YOU WITH CONSTRUCTION LIENS IF YOU DO NOT PAY FOR ITEMS YOU DID NOT ASK FOR BUT THEY SAY THEY PROVIDED. Beware of company's charging for items that you did not agree to during their proposal. They will add additional cost …

Kontos Roofing delivered on their promise...their estimate, their workmanship...timely and friendly. There was one small concern with a roof vent we noticed a couple days later, they fixed it. Without question. Highly recommend.

Just finished installing a new roof for my office building. Very quick to start and complete (2 days) and they left the property spotless. They also used video footage to show me what was rotting and what wasn’t so I knew they were being honest!! Highly recommend! ( also the owner stopped by with a box of donuts for us due to all the noise)

George Kontos Roofing did an amazing job replacing my roof yesterday! We are extremely happy. Every single contact with Kontos has been professional and customer focused...Miceli Kontos took the time to patiently explain the pricing structure for the wood replacement. Alan from the sales team was transparent and genuine. The front office, and work crews were extremely professional and pleasant to work with, we couldn't be happier with the customer experience! The work crew are truly craftsmen. Their focus on quality and customer service sets them apart from all others. Great job, Kontos Roofing!!

There’s been a hump in my roof since the house was built in the early 80’s that every other roofer so far said wasn’t fixable. I had my roof replaced by Kontos and they fixed the hump without me even mentioning it. Just one of the many reasons he’s the only roofer I use.

  Reply from the business

Definitely we were able to fix that big hump out and make it flat with a smooth slope
