  I'm visiting my brothers house in New Smyrna Beach and shocked to see that he has pieces of his new metal roof falling off his house! He told me when he reached out to the Installer G&W they said it was not their problem to fix! how is this possible on a roof that's 1-2 years old that he paid nearly $30K for!! The Owner said he would charge $4K to come back and fix this. We will get the State inspectors involved and fight this to get it fixed. If I saw this and my contractors installed this I would just fix it and do the right thing. Obviously G&W dont want to do the right thing and put it right, to save themselves $$$ Shows their character!! I would not recommend dealing with roofers who dont fix their mistakes.

  G&S installed gutters on the back of our house and I previously gave them an excellent rating for their work and professionalism. Fast forward to our first big rain last week. One downspout is too short and flooding that area. We called to have them come and extend out to the grass. Gerald came out and gave a $300 price to extend and denied they ever did the work in the first place. So disappointed that’s how they do business now. They responded with a thank you to the positive review still on this site. I guess we should have been more careful about paying in cash.

  This rating is not a mistake. If it were possible to give a zero, I would give it. The only positive was their sales rep. He knew his job and did it well. He actually got his hands dirty to satisfy a promise he made when the crew, although informed, did not. His talents are wasted on this company and I am privately sorry he works for them. Past that, dealing with G&W was an experience I would not wish but on my worst enemy. While I should share my experience, I just don’t feel like wasting any more of my time on this company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Of course, you might be that person that gets a good experience, but the chances that you would have to deal with what I did would make you fully regret dealing with them at all. It’s not worth taking that chance IMHO. Also, keep an eye on how your county inspector does his final inspection. He did my inspection in under 4 minutes. The time it took him to get from his car to the piece of paper, sign it and then get back in his car without inspecting anything. I have him on video doing this. What a waste of taxpayers funds and a let down to all homeowners that rely on these inspectors to protect them from shoddy work. This company took advantage of this inspectors lack of effort, almost like they knew. 😉”Like they knew!”😠

  I've used G&W on a few new construction projects my company has completed recently. After the last storm a down spout with only two straps blew off a two story structure we built. I asked G&W to simply utilize the original undamaged pieces and re install considering they performed the original work for us. Dave with G&W submitted a ridiculous proposal for $600.00 to re-install a single downspout. As a business owner looking out for my client I was insulted and despite calling G&W for an explanation for such a ridiculous quote, I have yet, weeks later heard word from any of there representatives. G&W emailed me for a review and this is my most recent experience.

  We are terribly sorry the work you had done at your house was less than satisfactory for you. We have tried to do everything possible to rectify every issue that you have brought to our attention. I can say everyday and every roof we learn new and better ways to improve our company. Although you may not appreciate the hard work we have done, we appreciate your business and the lessons we learned while doing business with you. When removing any roof, there is threat of a leak. We had our superintendent on the roof in the middle of the rain in order to seal the leak and stop any interior damage. This is how we function, we are by no means perfect, but we go above and beyond when things slip through the cracks. If you have any issues in the future, we will be here. Thank you, G&W Roofing.

  I just wanna start by saying that if G and W wants to contact me and make this right, I would be happy to change my review. You can check The reviews I leave. I am not a complainer and I do not leave bad reviews very often. As of now I have been dealing with trying to get the debris and nails and the scraps and trash cleaned that was left behind by the crew. I phoned the company and told them about the mess, and they gave me the phone number to the foreman whose name is Dave. I spoke to Dave on Friday and he told me his crew would be out here to clean it up first thing in the morning. On Saturday there was a no-show. I contacted David, and he said he would handle it. On Sunday there was still no cleanup. I texted David again, he said they would be here first thing Monday morning. On Monday morning at about a quarter till 8 AM two guys came out, walked around for about 15 minutes and picked up some trash. After they left, I went out to inspect and there were still nails in my neighbors yard and shingle debris In my front yard and on my walkway. I am including pictures of the mess. Please notice that Between my wife and I we had three nails go through our shoes. The second nail punctured my heel and caused a bloody mess. I’m just shocked that a company as big as GNW wouldn’t do a better job cleaning up their mess from the customers property.

  I just had work done on my roof and my gutters replaced. I couldn’t be more pleased with the end results. Gerald was excellent to work with and Jim was a one man wonder working 8 hours on a hot roof and the gutter crew was very respectful and got the job done so fast. I believe in using our community companies when possible And I highly recommend G&W. I will definitely use this company again!

  This recommendation is the strongest and most positive recommendation I’ve ever given for any type of service. Everything was great > communication during the contracting discussions, communication during the scheduling steps, and communication during the entire construction process. Project Manager Justin and his team were PROs. The safety steps and the cleanup were perfect. The respect to my home and gardens was superb. Justin sent me videos and photos every 4-6 hours on status and plans (I must have over one hundred pictures of issues found and resolutions provided). Issues were dealt quickly and my needs coupled with their expertise culminated with the best roof I have ever had on the eight homes I have owned. Justin listened and adjusted and I don’t believe he ever said “no”. I trusted him and his team and they enabled a stress free relationship. Roofing is expensive; but peace of mind is invaluable. G@W provided a great service and a great value. I suspect that this roof will easily outlive me. I will be happy to be an advocate for this company and this crew and I will suggest them to friends who may need assistance. FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  As usual, terrific response and terrific service. Justin really knew what he was doing and worked hard to make sure a complex repair was properly diagnosed and the job was done properly. G&W is our roofing and water leak “go to team”.
