  I was looking for a local roofer to install some recommended reinforcements to my roof. I called Flash roofing and sent them all the details and documents. Took the day off from work and waited for my appt. Day of the appt the person they sent called and said he thought I needed a new roof. Then said he could do the job and would email me an estimate. Next day Flash roofing called said the guy was sick, he doesn't do 2nd floor, etc all lies and excuses and lack of communication. They had all my info and photos. This is why you cannot just go by review. These people are very unprofessional and not truthful. Even your response to the review is a lie. This was not a phone contact. I sent email documentation of the project with photos. You've had the information for over 2 weeks. Your company communicated to me that this is a project you know and is familiar with. Then when the person you sent called he said he thought it was a re roof- expecting a big pay out. Had no idea what the job was. Never showed up or provided the promised estimates and measurements. I have all my communication as proof. Then on the day of the appt. I waited all morning, took the day off from work and he did not show up. He said he could provide the estimates by satellite measurements via email. Today, Laura had a new story. She promised to reply yesterday but never did. She said the roofer didn't do this type of job- very different from all the previous communication, he was sick. She didn't know it was a 2 story home- even though she had all the pics showing the house and roof. Lastly, she said you do not do this type of project. Contrary to your company's lists of professionalism and tasks. This was a waste of my time, money and effort. You could try to be professional and own that you did not take the time and effort to coordinate the job. Instead of acting as if I did something wrong. I was clear about what I needed. I was available and punctual. Didn't have any excuses. You have to be

  We’re sorry to hear you were frustrated with your experience. After reviewing the documentation and scope requested, we determined that the reinforcement work you needed involved hurricane strap installation from underneath the soffit area, which is not a service our company performs. As a roofing contractor, we typically handle structural tie-in work from the roof system during reroof projects, not from below on existing finished structures. There may have been some miscommunication during the scheduling process, and for that we do apologize. However, at no point was anyone intentionally dishonest. Once we confirmed the type of work being requested, we informed you that it was outside the scope of services we provide. We always try to be upfront about the type of projects we can properly and professionally handle, and we would never want to perform work outside our expertise. We sincerely wish you the best with your project moving forward.

  I needed to replace my flat roof on my house. I called 3 different companies and got quotes. Flash roofing was the least expensive. I called them and spoke to Boni, the owner, he was very professional and told me what was going to happen. His men showed up on time and completed the job. The whole experience was good. I hope that all companies could be this well run Had a leak after a big rain. Called Flash roofing and the cane the next morning and took care of the problem and charged me a very fair price. Great company

  Flash Roofing and Sheet Metal replaced our roof and they did an incredible job! Jose Contreras was always on time, very communicative and worked very hard until the job was done. I had 9 different estimates and I was so blessed to choose Flash Roofing and Sheet Metal. Jose is as professional, honest and friendly as they come. I did not expect the roof replacement process to be such an easy, fast and enjoyable process. The quality of the material, choice and workmanship was fantastic and the total price was spot on.   My roof was leaking and it was rain season in Cutler Bay. Sadly, the roofing business has a bad reputation for taking advantage of people who know little about roofs and who are facing an unexpected big expense. I used ChatGpt to get a list of local roofers. Some took days to reply to my phone calls. Some sent a high pressure sales rep to my house making promises that were dubious at best. From the moment I called Flash Roofing I got the impression I was dealing with pros. Boni, the owner, came to our home and spent more than a half hour answering our questions, explaining the pros and cons of various roof types, and suggesting that we think things over before making a decision. My wife and I spent half a day driving our neighborhood looking at roofs and taking notes. We called Flash Roofing with questions and got clear answers. Boni made another visit and we worked out a contract. We were surprised when, after all the decisions were made, he suggested that we sit on it for a few days to be sure we were comfortable with this important decision. It was wise advice. Four days later we signed the contract, but with a change in color. Getting a new roof completely takes over your property with materials, machinery, and a crew of workers. The Flash Roofing crew was polite, hard working, as careful as possible, and always on time. Cutler Bay requires a lot of paperwork, permits and inspections. Flash Roofing took care of all of it. Throughout the whole project we got prompt answers to questions. They earned my trust. When the project was done we were impressed by the quality of work, the honest way they had answered our questions, and how they cleaned up when they were finished. Flash Roofing did unexpected little things that showed that they understood the concerns of the home owner. They surprised us by sending a series of drone aerial pictures of the finished roof. A new roof is a big expense. With Flash Roofing we got our money’s worth.

  We hired Flash roofing to replace our wood fascia/soffit and add lights. Flash roofing did a great job and they were really professional. I didn't know if they would take a smaller job (not a full roof replacement) but the owner treated us like we were a large customer even though it was a small job on a small house. Definitely give them my highest recommendation!
