  ‼️Buyer Beware: Erie Home Roofing Facts Exposed ‼️ White-Labeled Materials: Erie is a sales corporation, not a manufacturer. They buy standard shingles from brands like DECRA or Westlake Royal and stamp their logo on the box to hide real material costs. No Price Shopping: They hide the true manufacturer's name specifically so you cannot look up prices online or compare quotes. Inflated Estimates: Sales pitches use high-pressure tactics, in - house inspection leading to aggressive sales pitch leading to massive quotes (3-4x more than comparable work, often $40,000+) and dropping drastically only if you refuse to make them banks of commission off of you. Subcontracted Labor: They do not use dedicated employee crews; they act as a middleman and hire local sub-contractors for the physical labor. The Better Option: Call a several highly rated, independent local contractors. Ask them to source DECRA or Westlake Royal stone-coated steel shingles directly to get the exact same roof for the third of the price. The salesman who came was so aggressive and almost violent and pressuring us way too much to get things sign right at that moment, we had to shut-off ourselves just to get him out of our house.

  Terrible installation. Over priced. Shoddy and sloppy workmanship. One of their "highly trained installers" (that's what we were told by the Erie Home salesperson) had a THREE MONTH OLD BABY at the jobsite the whole time!!! Run from this company!!! My husband took multiple pictures of exposed flashing, crooked tiles that don't line up, and so many sloppy sections that had to be patched or painted over. What an awful experience. Now we have an overpriced roof over our heads and are questioning the integrity of the entire roof. Will it leak? The same crew that installed the roof "fixed" the problems. Not a supervisor in sight. We were sold a "white glove" installation and all we got were lies and headaches and a bad feeling in our stomach. Do not use Erie Home roofing. There are so many better options.

  My experience with this company started professional from my end and would be expected throughout. However, Andrew was very aggressive and harassing to me as a female. He would not stop calling to make a sale and would try to apply pressure with leaving aggravating text messages and voice mails. If a costumer doesn’t want what you have over priced and tried to sell, walk away. As a customer we have many options and can choose where we spend our money. Don’t try to harass according to my sex because I really felt discriminated against by this man. I didn’t have a good feeling about him from the initial meet, but needed a job done and was going to go with the company anyway, but he changed my mind about this quickly and I want to help others before they feel criminal charges need to be filed. He never stopped calling even after I told him NO.

  I called the first roof place when I googled it and got them Erie. These guys came out and did a THREE HOUR PRESENTATION on their materials. We have 6 kids in our house and they were here until 9 pm. I’m 30 years old, I don’t need to be “sold” to the roofing company. This experience felt so predatory when I was just trying to get an estimate on how much damage there was and the cost of it. They also lied to my face TWICE. Andrew told me I didn’t have much ventilation on the roof and claimed I had ZERO whirlybirds. That’s not true. He also said they never subcontract out for labor, which is a lie. Then they quoted me $42000. By the end of the experience, I was disgusted and just ready for these dudes to stop lying and gtfo of my house. I wish I’d read reviews on this place before I had them come out.

  I called about a quote. The gentleman that called was extremely rude. He asked me some very evasive questions like :What time does my spouse go to work and what time of day am I alone in the house?" Sounds more like someone wanting to Rob me than a business trying to give me a quote on a roof. When I asked what does his questions have to do with buying a roof? He said and I quote " I wasn't a very good fit to be a customer of his and hung up on me.

  Our roof was in bad shape and needed decking in multiple spots along with crickets on both fireplaces, the installation guys were amazing and the products used are very impressive. And the 30 year complete warranty was what made the deal worth it for me. Thank you Erie

  Excellent!!Customer service was outstanding, very professional and on time. The roofing material is all top quality, so a little pricey, but well worth the investment to our home. The roof was complete and all debris cleaned up within hours. Our expectations have been exceeded.
