  I hope they enjoy being closed on saturday. I hope they got to enjoy sleeping in, because I didn't. Because one of their reps, ignoring the "no solisting" sign, banged on my door until I got out of bed, came down, and opened the door. Waking up the whole house on a Saturday morning. I have no idea what their business is like, but they're on my never contact list now.And I will strongly encourage anybody I meet to never to use them. Don't send your reps out on saturday morning to bang on doors, teach them to look for no solisting signs, Are better yet realized that it's 2025 and i'm not buying a roof from the first person that barges onto my property in the am on my day off.

  Quotes for my roof are around $14,000. Their quote was over $100,000...HA! Unbelievable. Please do not use these crooks. I only put 1/star because I couldn't post without it...

  Salesman came out and quoted me $57,000 on $14,000 job. I sent everything to my cousin (who owns a large roofing company several miles away) and stated he would bid that job at $14,000. My cousin also told me about how this company goes …

  A few months ago I had a new roof installed by Erie home roofing. I was told at the time that the financing company they used usually sends the first statement anywhere from 60-90 days from the installation. Instead of receiving a billing statement from the lender, I received a letter from a debt collector, acting on behalf of Erie, threatening to put a lien on my home if I did not pay them the full balance within 3 days. I spoke to someone at ie who informed me that due to their mistake, the lender had decided, without notice to me, had decided to back out of the lending agreement. After the initial phone call neither Erie nor their debt collector has returned my calls or addresses my dispute. Today I received a second letter stating that Erie has in fact put a lien on my home. I would not recommend doing business with this company. They are extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy. Update: To further prove my point, in the comment below from an Erie representative, they gave out the phone number of an entirely different business.

  Called me 15 times in two days, after asking them to not call me because we weren’t ready to get the free quote. Absolutely ridiculous.

  Before May 20, 2026, I had never heard of Erie Home. This is the day a nice young man rang my doorbell. He had a great personality and was never pushy. He explained who he was and why he came to my door. I could get my roof inspected for free. I agreed but told him I wasn't interested in getting a new roof at that time. Since I'm writing this, it obviously didn't work out that way. They have a process they go thru and it works perfectly. Next, 2 nice young men came to my house. They inspected my roof thoroughly. The had a sample of all the materials for a roof, explained what each was and answered any questions I had. After a few hours and 3 days later, I had a contract for a new roof. Next, another nice young man called. I didn't meet him in person but over the phone he was extremely helpful. He explained everything that was going to happen, made sure I understood it all and set up a time for materials to be delivered. The next day a flat bed truck came and delivered all the materials. The next day the crew came and put on my new roof (May 30th). Those guys worked so hard and fast, in one day I had a beautiful new roof. They cleaned up so good you couldn't tell they had been there except for the new roof. This company is so organized. Each person has a job and they do it well. If you need a new roof, you can't go wrong with Erie Home. By the way, I'm an 85 year old female senior citizen and they didn't treat me any different than anyone else.

  Everyone involved did an awesome job on the roof. The quote was exactly what they say it would cost to replace the roof. The crew were impressive and efficient. They completed the roof in one day and ensured everything was clean up.

  From the time on deciding the type roofing to pricing, installation and clean up was a smooth experience. Their unique total water proofing of my roof was far beyond what I expected. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

  While the cost was more than I had expected I believe it was reasonable for the added value over cheaper options. I wasn’t looking for the cheapest option since those usually have to be replaced in 10-15 years. Erie provided a detailed written warranty for 30 years that includes materials and labor. I believe the roof should last longer due to the quality of the materials and extra details they provide. Besides the top quality shingles things like water/ice barrier on all edges and valleys. A rubber like under layment instead of the usual felt paper or the new thin synthetic. Also drip edge trim at all edges including gable ends. They also offered easy financing options since the existing 16+ year old roof was not covered by home owners insurance because of the age. Erie’s warranty should make that problem unnecessary in the future.

  Erie was professional, courteous and accommodating from sales to installation. We choose Erie for the quality of the products and service. They listened to our concerns and we are satisfied with their service. The follow up by sales representative was especially appreciated. Just wanted to apologize for having Ivan drive up from B’ham. We had the house rented for 5 years while we lived in NC. What not been in the small attic since I added some temporary flooring which is why I was caught off guard. My guess is the realtor handyman made an effort to stop the leak and I paid no attention to the ceiling against the wall. Ivan was nice and patient with me. It just took some time for me to put together what probably happened. Thank you for sending help, even if not required.
