  Don't really leave negative reviews but after trying to get them out to give me a quote after explaining my situation they never gave me the time of day they aren't the only company in town on

Based on your request, the installation would have involved installing a new roof after the existing roof was removed by the homeowner. Unfortunately, that's not a type of project we take on, as we can only warranty and stand behind installations where our team performs the complete roofing process from start to finish. We understand that wasn't the answer you were hoping for, and we appreciate you considering Emmons. We wish you the best with your project.   My roof is as simple as you can get, nevertheless they did a terrible job. The plywood they replaced part they didn't nail down and where they did put nails more than half missed the rafters. The drip edge they installed left the wood exposed. The underlayment was ripped in some places. The ice and water barrier did not even cover over the drip edge. I have never seen such lack of professionalism. They even put the underlayment over debris from the old roof. While a crew of workers or apprentices was doing the work the foreman was sitting in the truck watching tic toc and drinking coffee. After I complained about the job they sent two men to repair the drip edge, but these only made matters worse. They ripped the ice and water barrier and left it that way, instead of replacing it. Since they had to remove the first rows of shingles to replace the drip edge, they just cut one row of shingles and stuck them under the other ones. Thus leaving one row of shingles with only one row of nails. Besides that they folded back a row of shingles to stick the other ones underneath thus debilitating that row of shingles. I immediately sent them an email stating try that this was unacceptable and demanded they redo the whole roof. They never responded and billed the finance company stating the job was done. They must have forged a certificate of completion so they could receive the money. So if you want a job well done keep away from this company. They use unskilled subcontractors, unconscious finance company, and the professional responsibility is zero. Any guarantee they offer is useless because working like this they will be out of business very soon.

  We take every customer concern seriously and made multiple visits to inspect the issues you raised. As part of that inspection, shingles were temporarily removed to evaluate your concerns—a standard roofing practice. After repairs were made, you demanded an entirely new roof, despite our conclusion that such a replacement was not warranted. We also strongly dispute several statements in your review, including the allegation that we "forged" a certificate of completion, which is false. We stand behind our workmanship and remain committed to resolving legitimate warranty concerns professionally and fairly. I think it is important to note that you have not had any leaks and the roof is operating as intended, and is warrantied against such for the duration of the contract.

  I am writing this review so others know not to use this company. The project started on 12/8 and it took until 4/2 to complete due to issues getting the material and having to come back to fix mistakes. They had a lot of issues with leveling and putting the siding the wrong direction. They also installed evolve stone using nails in the front and side of house. Now you can see thousands of nail heads twinkle when the sun hits it. Spoke to John about the issues and thought he would take care of it but he sends back the person that was part of issue in the first place. Since the beginning I have voiced to them my unhappiness with the crew and they kept sending them. It is unfortunate that I had many estimates and we went with this company and have to look at this bad workmanship for many years. My hope is you read this review and go with another company.

  I heard about Emmons renovation services through a Philly radio ad. I contacted them for a kitchen renovation quote. We spoke via phone for an estimate. Received a text from Elle 1/16/26, asking for photos, which were sent, & scheduled a phone consultation with Rebecca. I spoke with Rebecca 1/21/26 regarding scope of work, type of cabinets, counters etc., she said we would have an estimate in 24-48 hrs.. A week later, nothing. I emailed, and got not response. I texted Emmons asking for an update on 1/29/26. Received a text back stating they would speak with Rebecca to get the estimate out to us. Here we are on 2/12/26, and nothing, no follow up text, no email with an estimate, nothing.

  I would not recommend this company for window replacement. It took months to complete the job. The first window was measured wrong and they tried to convince me to keep it. The second window still doesn't seem correct, but I kept it. Never again.

After installation, you expressed concerns about the proportions. Although the window matched the contracted measurements, we worked with you to redesign the unit and proceeded with a reorder that increased the overall width by 5.5 inches across the 101-inch span. You were involved throughout that redesign process, including reviewing and approving the updated engineering drawings and final dimensions prior to production before the replacement was manufactured. Custom bay windows are made-to-order products, and reengineering and remanufacturing can extend project timelines. Our goal is always to work toward a solution when concerns arise and to ensure the final product reflects what was reviewed and approved.   Guy came out on a Thursday and said we will have a quote that evening or following morning. That was 8 days ago and we have no quote. Will be going with another company at this point and I dont recommend this company at all.

  They don’t offer what they claim. Warning ‼️ They will lie and say they have legitimate contracts when they don’t. Stay away from these people. They will never get the job done.

  They were great first time around but after giving me a prompt estimate for my next project, they just went radio silent when follow up questions were asked. The head of sales contacted me twice to find out what was going on and promised to “make things right” but to no avail. I just don’t get it. This is no way to run a business.

  We have one of those difficult to locate, difficult to definitively repair, leaks in our house. Emmons came out and crawled around our 150 year-old, unfinished attic in the heat until they found what we believe to be the problem. Because the repair needed won’t be under their purview, they would not take a penny for all of their time and effort, even though I was insistent. Have I mentioned that their office staff is professional and friendly? I don’t hope to have any roofing problems in the future, but if I do, I know who to call!

  Emmons replaced my roof about 6 years ago. Recently I was up on my roof and noticed shingles that were curling up. Upon closer inspection, I realized that it was actually the sheeting underneath the shingles that was curling up. I contacted Emmons and within 2 days they sent out Matt to inspect. Even though their workmanship warranty had expired a year ago, 2 weeks later, they sent out a crew to replace the defective sheeting and reinstall the shingles, free of charge! When they were asked to stand behind their work, even though it was out of warranty, they took care of business , no questions asked. I would definitely recommend Emmons to anyone needing a roof

  I spoke with the office. She understood my needs and time frame. She worked with my schedule. I could not be more pleased with how I was treated as a potential customer. Since posting the above, we went with Emmons for the new roof and again I could not be more pleased. The materials used were recommended to me by the Emmons representative and are proving excellent- thank-you Mick! The day of the installation the crew arrived on time and were professional and polite. Everything was done in one day and the clean-up was so good, I would not have believed anyone had worked on the property if I had not been there myself. Emmons was the 7th contractor I talked to and the only one who scheduled an appointment, sent a representative, gave a written estimate, and did the job in one take.
