  Tried to get me to replace my entire roof even though only a portion of it needed repair. The guy I spoke to on the phone was unwilling to negotiate -- true definition of shady practices.

Your review gives us the opportunity to reply and explain a few best practices that we employ at Eclipse Roofing Ltd. Since we do not have a record of a “Bradley H” in our system, we cannot accurately speak to your experience. But I can provide an educated response based on what I have discussed with other homeowners when similar situations have occurred in the past. After booking an appointment and providing an onsite assessment with one of our senior partners, we will provide a detailed document. This will include a quote, annotated photos, a glossary and warranties typically sent by email from our operations manager or admin staff. If you would like to review your quote document with a senior staff; please call us at 647-258-9434 ext. 0 with your quote number and we’ll be happy to discuss and explain why we did not offer a repair. One of our best practices is to provide a homeowner with a quote for the work we believe is required based on our assessment; our company will not provide pricing for repairs that do not address the overall roof issues at hand. We do not believe in taking advantage of homeowners and charging for services that will cost them more money over time (ex. repeated repairs and assessments) or that we cannot guarantee for any length of time. Examples of roof issues that a small repair may not address would be water infiltration from multiple sources, missing underlayments or flashing, deteriorated or old roof materials and installation issues with the existing system (fasteners in the wrong place, shingle or membrane not overlapped properly). We always encourage homeowner’s to seek out other quotations during the process of looking for a company for roof work.   350 quote to nail 3 nails in from my 2 story eastetrough that fell off with downspout. When I ask why so much he says, "do you have access to do it?". What a joke...ended up borrowing my neighbors 24 foot ladder and we did it in 20 min. I never mind paying for professionals but dont try and scam me a few days before xmas. Absolute ripoff artists.

  I had the entire existing roof system removed, including all plywood. Installed a new shingle and flat roof, installed all new eavestrough and downspouts, as well as, new soffit installed by the front entrance. Eclipse Roofing was professional in every aspect of their work and a pleasure to work with. I Highly recommend them.

  Absolutely delighted with the complete gutter and downspout replacement for my house. There was one minor thing we had initially talked about during the quote stage and I mentioned on the day the work was done but the guys said they didn't have the right material (to replace some soffit) with them and I checked the invoice and it wasn't on it. I thought it was no big deal at all but then two days later they come back and do the quick job at no extra cost which was a great surprise!

  I would like to, on behalf of our Condo Corporation's Board of Directors, express our utmost appreciation for the excellent work Eclipse did on our roof, eavestroughs, and skylights. They were always available to answer our questions, and their responsiveness to our calls and inquiries was exceptional. Eduart and Geni, the owners, lead a hardworking crew that showed up on time every day, worked diligently, and maintained a high level of courtesy and professionalism throughout the project. Reigh, the administrator, was an absolute pleasure to deal with—responsive, organized, and always quick to address any questions or concerns. This level of customer service, coupled with their craftsmanship and attention to detail, sets them apart. Sadly, this kind of dedication and professionalism is becoming rare in today's market, but Eclipse serves as an example of how a company should operate.   We recently had our roof repaired and shingles replaced. Definitely recommend Eclipse. The quotation process was fast and easy - took me through photos and a detailed assessment. Once work was set they came exactly when they said they would and finished on time. I flagged a couple of items the next day and they came right away and went above and beyond to address them. Overall they were fast, friendly and great to deal with.

  Super impressed with Eduart and his team. I strongly recommend going with this company for roofing issues. They drove all the way out to Oakville and told me very honestly that what we thought might be damage was nothing at all. No charge! Used them before too and have never been disappointed. Front desk is also very responsive and professional. Always a great experience. Hands down best roofers in the GTA!

  I hired Eclipse to install all exterior cladding for my 3rd floor addition and was very satisfied with the work. They sourced and installed brick that was a perfect match to the original and their work on the steel roof and Hardie panel was of an equally high quality. I would hire them again without hesitation.

  Eclipse Roofing Ltd. is one of the best vendors we've had the pleasure of working with. We had already been approached by a roofing scammer and then called in Eclipse. We were impressed by their reviews -- both on Google and Homestars -- and by the support we received on the phone and via email. The operations manager, Reigh, couldn't have provided more info and support. Her first email included 5 attachments -- things like their WSIB insurance, liability insurance, Toronto Business Number, info on the difference in various shingles, etc. As soon as I received that email, we were convinced that Eclipse was a stellar company. Reigh even helped me get rid of the scammer. From Reigh, we were introduced to the co-owner, Eduart (pronounced Edward). He came and did a quick inspection of the roof and confirmed that we needed a brand new roof. He is professional, empathetic, skilled, and a very nice man. He's worked hard to build this company and is incredibly ethical. Shortly after that, we received a very reasonable quote and were happy to sign off. And the warranty they provided was awesome. Eduart's team was just as professional and they were able to complete a very complex roofing job in just over one day. Everything worked against them -- it was too late in the season, the weather wasn't cooperating, and our roof is incredibly steep and high. But the team got it done while protecting our property and our neighbour's property and each side of her house. He then booked a follow up appointment to ensure we were happy and take receipt of payment. Eduart and everyone at Eclipse are beyond great. I only wish they specialized in other jobs so that we could use them again soon! Kim Sutch
