He came out to look at the problem on my roof in June. I had to bug him for 10 weeks to give me an actual estimate for the cost. When he finally gave it to me it was very expensive. It turns out it was three times more than his competitors …

Hi Lasha! Thanks for your review of my services. I can tell that you write children's stories for a living! But here's what really happened... You called my office to have me come out and consult on a humidity issue that you were having. This wasn't a basic estimate, but rather an in home, in attic consultation and assessment of your long term issues. You told my office that you were home any day between 5-7. Since you said that you were home ANY day, I went the next day at 5 pm. You were not home. My bad, I should have called ahead.(one trip for free) The next day I called and said I would be there before 6pm. I arrived at 5.10 pm. nobody was home. I called you and you said that you had already left for the evening. (second free trip) I called you again a couple days later, when it fit MY schedule this time and we were finally able to connect. Your choice of attire for a business meeting with a contractor was less than appropriate. After I introduced myself to you, I went back to my service van and told my colleague (who happens to be female) what the situation was with your attire. My colleague and I decided that since this was already the 3rd trip (3rd trip for free) that I should quickly look in the attic to verify what I already suspected was happening. I've been in the roofing industry for over 40 years and I knew exactly what I was looking for. The attic inspection took a few minutes. I told you as soon as I was out of the attic that you would be looking at about $2500 for me to repair the deficiencies. We were standing at the top of the 2nd floor landing while we discussed this. I also mentioned that due to the summer heat it would be September or October before I would take on this kind of work. You said no problem. I offered you a copy of "keeping the heat in" which is a Canadian government publication which is no longer in print, but I still had a few copies reserved for situations like yours. I said I would drop it by in a few days for you and that I w

Had Dr. Roof do a repair. Extremely professional. Was out the next day. Did a great job as the repair held through the extreme wind we had last week (although a number of my neighbours were not so lucky). Had used them on a previous house and had the same experience. Would highly recommend them!

Dr Roof re shingled my garage roof at a fair cost with no fuss or no mess. Didn't leave a nail or whisper of an old shingle behind. Excellent service.
