The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Downers Grove Roofing. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

The team was highly responsive and a pleasure to work with. We had a bad leak in the roof, and they came out to repair it in the short term as we set up a time to figure out a more permanent solution for the old roof.

This is an excellent company to choose for your roof repair. I called for an inspection or estimation yesterday afternoon, and they came at 10:00 AM. The inspector did a fabulous job, not only finding the problems but also explaining in detail to us how they occurred and the solutions to solve them.

They replaced our tar and gravel roof. The roof looks good, and we had no problems with the downpour.

Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 19 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 19, of which 16 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
