It's been about two weeks (okay, maybe one) since they were supposed to call me, and I haven't heard back. Imagine the warranty if we had any problems... Now they're threatening me... so draw your own conclusions. Here's their message: "I'm giving you until noon to remove your comments. We have all the evidence that you're lying. This is defamation. We will initiate civil proceedings this afternoon if the comments are still published. I strongly advise you to consult a lawyer."

Hello Yvon Bouline, we apologize for the longer than usual delays. Since returning from the construction holidays, we have been receiving a higher volume of requests than normal. Your request was submitted on Tuesday, August 15th. We thank you for modifying your review to suggest that you made a mistake. Furthermore, we have never threatened you. We informed you that we will not tolerate defamatory remarks and behavior like yours, as it goes against our values. In addition, I would like to quote your own words: "Go ahead and have fun, and I'll publish everything on the internet; you'll see how your sales will plummet." I remind you that the R.S. Act, c. C-34, art. Section 262 (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/fra/lois/c-46/page-43.html#h-117816) stipulates that any publication made with the intent to harm someone's reputation is defamatory, and you yourself told us that your review was intended for that purpose. Therefore, I leave it to others to judge the relevance of your review. And when someone makes an insinuation that can mislead or harm someone's reputation, that is called defamation. We have taken note of your comment. We are sorry that our services did not meet your expectations. Dicaire Master Builder | Roof Repair and Restoration, Attic Ventilation

This company completed the roof repairs, caulking, and various other work on my house in Sainte-Julie. The work was carried out as planned and on time. The young contractors were very conscientious, the work was impeccable, and they offered suggestions for improvements to the property. I recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent team. We received a quote in September 2023. The roof inspection was done by professionals, and the quote was comprehensive, detailed, and very clear. Compared to other quotes, we could see the quality of their work. Due to other work, we postponed the roofing project to 2024. Dicaire was the only contractor to get back to us in February 2024 to follow up on their quote. We felt that they were truly invested in our project. We approved the quote in March 2024. The work was completed on April 25th, on schedule and without any surprises. It's high-quality work. Dicaire installed a solution to better ventilate our dormer roof (the only one to offer a solution for this problem) and significantly improved the attic insulation (from the outside). The team that came was very friendly, respectful, and always on time. Everything was picked up (absolutely no debris left behind) and the team used a magnetic picker to check that no nails remained on the ground. We highly recommend them.
