Scam company. Sending out texts advertisements without permission. I called and got a robot. No one is actually there.

Sent out a mass email AND SMS text asking me to vote for them as “best roofing company”, but doesn’t even say who is running the contest. I barely remember asking for a quote from them, but certainly did not do business with them, so why does the company address me as “honest customers like you”? Here’s your vote: that’s incredibly immature, dishonest and quite shady. It’s also not legal under CAN SPAM, and you KNOW that it is an illegal use of my cell phone number. Thanks for letting me know I made the right choice when I selected a different roofing company. Oh and whoever this person is decided to email me several paragraphs which I am assuming were not an apology. I do not remember ever interacting with this person in my life. Maybe I entered my information on their website, maybe I got a response, but I certainly don’t remember anyone with his name and face. This is far beyond soliciting and into harassment. Leave people alone and don’t solicit votes. This isn’t difficult civics.

Hi Joshua, thank you for sharing your thoughts. For clarity, our records show that Desert Roof Concepts inspected your Desert Hot Springs property on May 20, 2024. During that visit, we completed a full roof evaluation at no cost to you, including a detailed inspection, photos, a professional roof measurement sketch report, and a written estimate.
The estimate provided included a full tile reset and reroof scope, covering tile removal and reinstallation, double underlayment, replacement of damaged tiles, sealing of flashings, cleanup, permitting, inspection, and an eight year warranty. Although this service is complimentary to homeowners, it does come at a real cost to our business in the form of employee labor, software usage, administrative time, and operational expenses, costs we willingly invest as part of supporting our local community.
Later, as a goodwill effort, we reached out to past homeowners who had requested inspections or estimates to invite them to support our business in the Best of the Desert program. Participation was completely optional.
Joshua, you had the choice to simply disregard the message, but instead chose to leave a negative review despite receiving these services at no cost. People can judge for themselves whether that reflects good faith.
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

One guy arrived to review the task; said that they would follow up and call me back and obviously the job was too small for them to even give me the courtesy to let me know that they only do high end expensive projects.

Hi Norma, We appreciate all feedback and take reviews very seriously. However, we’d like to clarify some important details about your experience. You contacted us regarding issues with your structurally unsound corrugated Alumawood patio cover. This type of work does not fall under the scope of a roofing contractor—it is handled by a patio contractor. You requested that we seal the corrugated patio, but this was not possible for two reasons we explained: The patio is not structurally sound enough to support the weight of even an average person. There is no decking present, which makes sealing impractical and unsafe. To help illustrate this, here is a link provided by our on-site inspector with photos. Please note, the images were taken from the edge of the patio roof due to the structurally unsound condition of the corrugated material: https://app.companycam.com/galleries/Fo9astCv These photos demonstrate why the patio cannot be sealed or serviced in the manner you requested. We strive to be transparent with our customers and set clear expectations. In this case, the service you were seeking simply does not fall within our expertise as roofing contractors. We kindly ask that reviews reflect the services we actually provide. Our company has a strong track record of customer satisfaction, and we work hard to uphold it. Leaving feedback based on expectations outside our scope of work does not accurately represent the quality of service we deliver. Thank you for your understanding. —Desert Roof Concepts

I was very pleased that I hired this 1st rate company after many years of trying to decide on roofer, roof color , type, etc. It was all done long distance. They worked every day, from start to finish and they sent me photos everyday showing work in progress. I thought price was fair. Communication and workmanship excellent .with an 8 year warrantee from DRC, Very pleasent to deal with. Everyone I spoke to at DRC was cordial and helpful.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody at Desert roof concepts. Everyone from the receptionist, project manager, the install team and the cleanup crew did a great job. My only complaint is that I could only give this company five stars. Thank you again.

Great company to do business with. The entire staff was exceptional. They did my roof in a timely manner. Stayed in contact daily with pictures of the work done each day. Also, the crews cleaned up the site and the end of every day. Would recommmend Alber and his team to anyone!

So far my experience has been great. They answered my request to have a roof leak checked and set an appointment to check it in the next few days. Looking forward to their roof inspection.

We used Desert Roof Concepts and would highly recommend them. They installed a new foam layer on our flat roof but unfortunately this did not fix the leak that was there previously. The owner came out on the weekend and after many hours figured out where the leak was coming from and they came back out and foamed a downwall that was causing the isssue. They also fixed all the damage that occured in the house and made sure everything was fixed to our satisfaction.

Left messages with 6 companies and received only response from Desert Roof concepts. They returned my call the next day and scheduled an appt. They even sent a calendar update so that it appeared on my calendar!!

Desert Roof Concepts was great to work with right from the start. They were very prompt in returning my call to schedule a new roof estimate. The young woman who helped me book the appointment (I wish I remembered her name!) was incredibly friendly and professional. It made the whole process easy and pleasant from the first interaction.

A thorough inspection of the flat roof in La Quinta revealed key areas needing attention to prevent future damage.Mar 3, 2026
