Too few ratings to compare against other roofers — at 7 ratings a single unhappy customer moves this figure by several points.
The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for David Horn Roofing & Construction Inc. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.
What reviewers keep mentioning

I am a man who has been in the facilities maintenance management industry since 1978 and let me tell you this… A property is only as good as the people who live in it, and I’m speaking from experience and my 4+ decades of experience in this field has taught me that if it says “Indestructible”…. It isn’t. David is one of the best shingle slingers I’ve ever had the pleasure to know and he is one very truthful, honest, intelligent man who always has a smile on his face no matter what may come. He’s the BEST ROOFER AND ROOFING COMPANY OWNER In the Santa Cruz area and you’ll get a honest fair price every single time.

Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 7 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 7, of which 7 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on David Horn Roofing & Construction Inc. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
