  Chose one star just to register here. This is an unprofessional, rude, lying company that you should definitely stay away from. They did not give me an actual contract I found out later, but an estimate. Said they would come Autumn of 2019. Many emails saying next week, next week, before end of month, you are next on our list etc. Last day they advised us they would come next morning and to keep parking place cleared in front of our house. We spoke to Lauren that morning and he said he was coming. We stood outside on November 6th, two retired old people, guarding the space, tried to talk to him again that morning but there was no reply ........ and he never came! We asked him to write an email to our insurance agent saying what he told us, that our roof was good for another few years, while waiting for the next year to have the new roof built. He declined. Our insurance ran out. On August 4 of 2020 our roof began to leak. We had been calling him anyway to have the work done, and we wrote in urgence, with pictures of the dripping ceilings. No reply. even though he has supposedly an urgence service. Finally, and thank God, we found another roofer, who was wonderful, who gave us a written contract, which is where I learned that Kochenburger hadn't even given us a proper contract before, even though he referred to it as a contract all that time. This Kochenburger company, certainly Lauren who I understand is a son? and the receptionist also, are rude, untruthful, unreliable, and can cause much expense. Because they did not do our roof in 2019, and kept stringing us along, we lost our insurance, had a leak the next year and had copious inside ceiling repairs to make on our own.We were treated with such disrespect, and dishonesty. Honestly, avoid this company at all costs!!!!!

  Dear Sir/Madam, as previously mentioned, we NEVER write letters to insurance companies, especially not for you. The roof is already quite old; I told you it could leak tomorrow or in five years. Unfortunately, you and management did not reach an agreement. This was in 2019, and you are writing six years later. Best of luck. Thank you.

  Run the other way. A very unprofessional organization. Very poor communication. A roof that was guaranteed for 15 years and had issues in our 11th year they basically walked away by claiming issues with branches which caused damaged to the roof. We brought in three independent roofers who claimed the original roof was poorly done and there was no branch damage. The leak was a result of poor workmanship which they refuse to honour with there guarantee which is as useless as the paper written on. Very sad - these family run businesses are often run poorly.

  Stay away! Poor everything and dishonnest. Went to court because the roof was not redone according to contract and won but it took two years and even after it was settled in court, the owner refused to pay saying it was his son Lauren's fault....blah blah blah Sent bailiff with court order and they paid! I would suggest avoiding this company! I suggest doing your due dilegence when dealing with construction companies and enquire about any past legal actions against them.

  We had a contract to replace roof in May 2018.After many calls and many false promises job was never done. Roof leaked in January 2019. Not impressed. ALSO provided proof that this is all true giving date of signed contract and have not heard back. Let me know if you need more information /proof. Thanks

  We were very happy with our experience with this company. We had a roof inspection done by another company that recommended a complete replacement, but with them, the same inspection revealed only minor repairs and no need for a full overhaul. Their honesty, service, and value for money are excellent. It's a family business spanning four generations, which is truly remarkable. Congratulations on everything! And what's more, they take photos during the work and send them to us. I highly recommend this company!
