  They were hired by my insurance to fix my roof. When they delivered the shingles they absolutely destroyed my eavesdrops and when I confronted them they said they would just bend them back into place, to which I said no that’s not going to work, it needs to be replaced. I have been trying to get them to fix it ever since, 3 months has now gone by, with no contact from them.

We don't believe this one star review is a fair representation of the work D.C. United completed at your property.   Hi Ralph, We are sorry for your experience. We definitely stand by our work, as you have witnessed in the past we came out right away for the repair. And when you called us back at the end of June, our customer service rep took your info and passed it along right away to our old Operations manger. However shortly after our Operations manger quit and there were some miscommunications as well as some requests they had become lost in shuffle. We apologize for your experience with us in that moment. If you would like to reach out to us we can definitely help rectify the problem. We still stand behind your work and warranty.   Company charged my parents $10,000 fort 2 guys for 2 days to show up and spread some roof tar in valley. Whatever they did caused more issues and leaks. Be prepared to be scammed by the best in Barrie.

  I’m truly sorry however it would be best if you or your parents are upset to call the office and they will have myself the owner address if we have wronged anyone , We do apologize for your confusion here. I will do my best to explain the situation in more detail. If you do require more help, please let me know. I will start by explaining the product and special nature of it. This is a Marley concrete tiles and are special order. The gentle man who performed the repairs was trained in the UK, his home country, where the tiles company originates. He was trained in this product and brought to Canada to teach installation here. Your parents did pay to have repairs done on the tile roof which were completed. This consisted of much more than just tar in the valley. The quoted and agreed upon price consisted of replacing a large quantity of broken or missing roof tiles, removing loose mortar in the valley and replace with red tinted mortar, refasten rake tiles on the gables, secure loose ridge tiles, and install a cap on 2 chimneys. This work was completed last year and was mentioned at that time that the roof under the tiles is not in good condition. They did contact us again and ask us to look at more leaks that have occurred. After investigating we found that a primary cause of leaks stems from the chimney. We do not install new chimneys so we recommended your parents to a masonry that can assist with re-building the chimney so that metal can be fastened to it without crumbling. I know a quote for this work was provided by this company. We sincerely hope they can have the chimney repaired shortly so we can continue to assist them through flashing around the chimney. I think this is an excellent case to show why installing right the first time is so key and to make sure you have a professional company install the roof to avoid expensive repair costs. We hope to assist them in the future, please let us know if they do get the chimney structure issues taken care of

  DC Roofing was one of the only companies that would come and renovate the roof venting at my island cottage. It was 5 days of commuting by boat daily to get the job done and Andy did a remarkable job with Melanie’s help. We replaced outdated gables with new soffits, roof vents, and blown in insulation. We even vented the boat port on the water! For the first time in nearly the 20 years we have been here the cottage is cool despite the heat outside! I would highly recommend DC Roofing to anyone needing help!

  Had some work done by other company a year ago and roof constantly leaked so I reached out to DC United Roofing. Rob came out and figured out the issue fast and gave me an inspection report and quote in the same day. The guys that showed up did a phenomenal job. There has been many rain falls and snow with no leaks. I can sleep peacefully at night now during rain thanks to DC United Roofing and Rob for the speedy service
