We were in need of extensive upgrades to our home. A couple guys came out but we never received a quote or follow up. Very disappointed.

Called for a quote to get some work done. Finally received a call two weeks later and was promised a quote within a couple days. Three weeks passed and nothing. Ended up dealing with Real Blue Roofing and Elsa Roofing that actually respond to their customers. Update after owners response: Ah, the typical lie that we have no record of you. Funny enough I have record of it. I have multiple call logs proving we have spoken that I can gladly post. Very poor and unprofessional response from a company that made a mistake to try and accuse someone of being an AI bot and chose to make up lies instead. Both companies you mentioned service Simcoe county. Real blue roofing literally has an office in Barrie. Great investigative work though. I left 4 reviews not 6. I called 7 companies and 2 got back to me. The fact that as an owner of a company you continue to try and embellish and make up lies is truly shameful. All you roofing contractors are mostly the same. I called in October when its close to end of season for you. You saw my job as probably around $3000 and prioritized your larger profit jobs and that's absolutely okay, but have the common decency to call back clients to decline work if need be. As a former contracting business owner of several years I've had to decline work many times, but I've always had the decency to call my clients back to inform them so. You guys don't care about your clients, you care about maximum profit. You claim to value your clients and take pride in serving your county by ignoring your clients? That's an interesting business approach. The only person tarnishing your name is yourself, and you continue to make yourself look worse with your lies. I left a review based on the experience you provided. Keep editing your response though to try and save face. Thank goodness I didn't hire your company, god forbid if you made a mistake you'd probably blame the clients. I hope you can take this as a learning experience and be mo

Hello Tom, we don't have any record of you calling our business for work. Ironically, the two roofing companies you've mentioned are completely out of Barrie or rather the entire Simcoe County's jurisdiction: i.e; Elsa Roofing from (GEORGINA) & Real Blue from (BRAMPTON). All the 6 reviews you've written are 1 stars with the exact same complaint of companies not getting back to you for 3 WEEKS. Here at Barrie Roofing & Repair we value each and every one of our clients big or small and take pride in being a LOCAL company serving our county with top class professionalism and quality of workmanship. Its unfortunate somebody would go out of their way to write reviews like this to tarnish our name when we have given our blood sweat and tears to establish and uphold best roofing quality providing a benchmark in our industry. Wish you the best in your future roofing needs across the entire province of Ontario :) cheers

The work the crew did at my current building was quite good considering the state the roof was in before they started. I’m however very disappointed in the fact that my multiple attempts to reach Aaron in regard to my wife’s vehicle being damaged by the negligence of the crew have remained unanswered.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Barrie Roofing & Repair Contractors. When we faced a critical roof repair issue at our Air Hangar at the Simcoe Regional Airport, their team responded with swift, decisive action that truly exceeded every expectation. Working directly with Aaron was an absolute pleasure. He handled the situation with true professionalism, genuine care, and a level of ownership that is rare to find in this industry. He didn't just treat it as another job—he took full care and custody of our property, as well as that of our tenant, ensuring everyone involved was protected and informed throughout the entire process. Not to mention their ability to execute repairs in the mid of winter (& several times since!)- Aaron and his team with continually be my first call, I can’t sing their praises enough! The quality of their workmanship speaks for itself. Had it been Aaron and his crew who completed the original installation, I can say with full confidence that roof would have outlasted my lifetime. The same unwavering confidence applies to their repair work—they don't just fix problems; they deliver lasting solutions built to endure. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Barrie Roofing & Repair Contractors to both commercial and residential clients without hesitation. Whether you're managing a critical facility or protecting your family home, this is the team you want on your roof. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. Thank you, Aaron and crew, for your exceptional service and peace of mind. With gratitude, John McMahon

Barrie Roofing did an excellent job for a fair price replacing the roof on my shed. They arrived when scheduled, completed the work in a timely fashion and did an awesome job cleaning up. I was very pleased with their service.

During a week of a lot of rain. I had a dripping ceiling in one of my bedrooms. Called Barrie Roofing and when the weather permitted a 2 man team showed up on time and it took a little time, but the leaking was in a valley of the roof's pitch. Replacement shingles were promptly applied. Great job!

Amazing workmanship and customer service. Pearl is phenomenal and the crew is very knowledgeable. Very competitive pricing. They respond quickly and are honest with their work. Only negative reviews are from people that haven’t had the opportunity to work with them
