The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

Caleb Friesen and his crew re-roofed our house in 2015 at a cost of $32,000. Five years later, I needed a small repair, plus I'd lost my receipt and I need it for tax purposes. Despite numerous polite attempts by phone and email messages over several months--including a phone message to his home--I got not even the courtesy of a response, much less the repair and the receipt. I can only assume they are out of business or Mr. Friesen is dead.

We had Custom Roofing replace our roof after a house fire, and they did an incredible job with attention to detail. We’ve had so many compliments on the shingle they helped us choose, which looks even better than the original roof! Caleb and his crew were a pleasure to work with, every step of the way, and they got the project done in record time! We were so impressed. Highly recommend to everyone we know!

Excellent company. Honest, Organised, High Quality Work at a good price. Helped on out with a minor issue the same day I called even after 7 years since roof was replaced. Highly recommended.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 6 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 6, of which 5 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Custom Roofing Inc.. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
